I am absolutely in LOVE with this little gem of a shop! It is hidden away, so you have to almost know about The Corbel, or just stumble upon it on your way to St. Francisville( which is how I discovered them years ago)! It’s my “go to” shop for Christmas, and always on my “wish list” when the kids or hubby are looking for gift ideas for me. I purchased the BED SWING last year ... it is a heavenly spot on our porch , and the first place company wants spend time in. I have purchased SO many things for my home ... stained glass windows, wine barrel lazy susan, wooden angels, beautiful jewelry, and a fabulous Charcuterie Board!! Read moreABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE POLICY! I bought a wood planter to set on my kitchen bar. I had it for a week and the planter was split down the middle and wood putty fell out of a crack in the wood which made a huge split down the middle of the box. I called to explain what happened and sent a picture of the cracked box and they told me this was normal for an antique and they WOULD NOT give me a credit nor take it back. He offered to fill the putty back in the crack (which was covered up and disguised when I purchased it), BUT WOULD NOT GUARANTEE it would stay. He also said this was normal for an antique piece. I WOULD NOT recommend this store if you are worried about...
Read moreMy husband and I drove an hour to look at doors for our house. We walked in and the two ladies did not speak one word. We walked to the back to look through the doors and had to ask someone for help. She answered only the questions we asked and did not offer any suggestions or even an explanation of the inventory. The store is nice and we could have maybe found some cool things for our house, but we didn't stay long. We refuse to give money to someone that would rather sit behind the counter with her back to us while reading the newspaper, rather than talk...
