Save A Lot — Local services in St. Louis

Maybe it's just the time of day I tend to shop there... but there's never any shopping carts. So I had to make serval trips to the counter. Upon checking out I tried using the cart to take my items to the bagging area and I was asked where I was going with "her" cart. I informed her that I would return it once I emptied my items and she replied with an attitude "So, what am I supposed to use, while I'm checking the other ppl out.. am I supposed to wait?" Mind you there was another cart immediately behind her. I’ve been twice now and the first time was a week day they closed 30 minutes before they said they were closed the second time was a Sunday which they now close at 9pm on Sunday and they closed before 9pm I know I’m coming last minute uti work so if I come at 845pmreally even at 8:50pm I should be able to get in I realize they want to go home but if your store is supposed to stay open till 9pm then it should stay open till 9pm period I can’t close my job early and if I did and someone came they would be upset as well on top of it I legit wasn’t even shopping I just needed to pick up a Amazon order it’s not like I’m trying to grocerie shop for the week I’m not that rude I know some people are but that...

It's my neighborhood grocery store and it has enough of what I need. It's convenient cause I can walk to it in 5 or less minutes but I often go on a skateboard so it takes 1 minute to get there. It's a clean store but the entry doors have plywood on them. Probably the result of some crime that happened, but It really ruins the look of a really nice store. Food is expensive and I do own a vehicle so it's mostly the convenience of being so close that I can walk that I shop there. I would prioritize the better quality more known brand products from the larger grocery stores in the area. But save a lot is there when I need an ingredient or...
