Legacy Books and Cafe is the longest standing Poetry Hub in St. Louis, MO. It's known with the Spoken Word community for Friday night Open Mic. The bar's known for it's grill's famous chicken wings and bartenders heavy hands ;) . Tell Mr. Nicks and Jay, we said, "Hello!" A bit different from what I remember and I'm not necessarily sure if I like it yet or not. It's a very hospitable place though with decent food, it also has a space for live intimate performances judging from the spoken word history of the place the ambiance definitely lends itself to that esthetic. I like to drink eat and be merry and this is a great place to do just that Toomuchsauce is in the building and their sauces for the wings fish and shrimp..omg...plus the cocktails are always flowing at the bar plusss its always some type of entertainment going on most nights from comedy to poetry ect...check out this...
