I have been a State Farm customer for 7 years and still am. I had to switch agencies, Scott has always been responsive however I could not believe his business practices. State Farm offered to refinance my vehicle and I accepted. The junior agent assigned was very nice but ultimately misinformed me and screwed up the paperwork. Rather than effectively communicate the errors the junior agent was sent out to meet me at my office to capture my electronic signature which was added to a new contract with terms I did not agree to. I realized something was wrong when a new contract came in the mail. When I confronted Scott he stonewalled me and kept saying I signed a legal document and there was nothing he could do. He also said since I was going to switch agencies since I was so dissatisfied by this experience there really wasn't anything in it for him to pursue the matter. Obviously State Farm Corporate had an entirely different view and was appalled at his behavior and the lack of training for the junior agent and honored the original terms I signed and agreed to. The most unsettling part of this experience was Scott himself, I was appalled to learn that the corporate office had no record of the original contract -let that sink in for a minute. I had to make a decision on the type of agency and business practices I wanted watching over my family and The Offices of Scott Holdridge is certainly not it. 7 years a client and even after the corporate offices intervention no apology. I do not recommend...
Read moreUpdate 2024: I just spoke to a guy who was very rude to me because I did not prefer the app for my insurance cards. I prefer the paper cards and had not received them in the mail. I called to simply have them mailed and the guy acted like I was bothering him. Then he tried to email them instead and re-suggested that I just use the app which is not what I asked him for nor preferred. I’ve been with this State Farm office for going on 10 years. They have my home and auto policies. However, after today’s interaction, I could not and would not recommend them. Find a consistently professional office to conduct business with. I’m calling around for quotes tomorrow. I’ll be damned if I pay on time every month (auto pay), never had a problem, don’t call often, and ask my insurer for a simple thing that should’ve already been done, and be made to feel like I’m bothering anyone in there for simply asking for my tangible cards.
2020 review: Courtney is amazing. Very considerate and understanding. She went above and beyond to assist me and for that, I will always be a fan.
Jaime has also helped me in that past, she is awesome too. Great staff members are hard to come by....
Read moreI have been using Scott Holdridge as my State Farm Insurance agent for approximately 15+ years. During that timeframe I have moved 3 times with two of those being residential properties I purchased. With each move of my residence Scott’s office made sure the transaction went smoothly without any hiccups. If you have a problem with the coverage, Scott and his crew will try to make it right for you and explain how the coverage works. My last new added coverage involved an old refurbished golf cart and his price is comparable to other insurance companies I received a quote. He might not be the cheapest at times, but the old saying is “you get what you pay for” and I would stick with someone I trust rather than to save literally a small amount of cash with someone else with quirky sales pitches. I’m old school and believe in loyalty. If I feel that Scott isn’t giving me back respect and support, I simply email him before posting a ranting review because it could just be a simple misunderstanding. Like I said, he and his crew will try to make it right if it’s all possible. Some of those who posted bad reviews appeared to be wanting everything under the sun…not...
