There are 2 bits to working with Leisa that made the experience memorable.

1.) The Art - Obviously this is the most important thing. Her work is personalized and beautiful. There are so many sites where you can upload a picture of your house and it will spit out some sort of rendering. That's not Leisa, her work has character, and soul. Once I framed and hung the piece it was so very obvious to me that I made the right decision to partner with her. Her work outshines many of my other pieces that I have, and has been an eye catcher, and conversation starter ever since I hung it in my living room.

2.) The Experience - In life, we all want the easy button. So picking a random site, uploading photos, and having it spit something out is certainly easy, but likely will not produce a result that you can take pride in. The great thing about Leisa is the experience of working with her was A++. We had a call,I sent her some photos, and next thing I knew she had her first sketch. She allowed me to provide feedback, I signed off, and then, in what seemed like only a few days, she presented me with the final product, which exceeded expectations. The process was easy, and dare I say, kind of fun!

My wife and I asked Leisa to paint our Washington DC home -- a Wardman row house across the street from the National Zoo...yes, "lions, and tigers, and bears, oh my!" We planned to use the painting for Christmas cards, invitations, etc. The painting was lovely, which really doesn't do justice to our feelings. My wife, who is more sophisticated than I, especially enjoys the way Leisa's art brings out a cheery warmth. (Her two gifts show that very well; my wife plans to put one print in her office.) My friends have admired her painting of our home, and asked for Leisa's contact info for their homes. The only mistake we made for a Christmas card is Leisa's painting shows our home during spring. Leisa's paintings bring to mind the old phrase, "a picture paints a thousand words," and her beautiful house portraits speak for themselves. Her creativity and attention to detail shine through in all of her artwork. Leisa is not only a gifted artist but also a person of great integrity. Her interest in the preservation of historical buildings and her recognition of people and organizations devoted to the restoration of these architectural gems is commendable.
