ALDI — Local services in Starke

been shopping at Aldis for years. I want to love them, but it's like some marriages, just go stale. As years go by their prices keep getting higher and higher. You will find buns for example within 2 cents the same as Wallyworld. And that's just one example. it seems there's no more competition for lower prices . Gotta throw a quarter in the cart to shop and bring your own bags . - This is supposed to save money that gets passed on to the customer?? well , I don't see it happening. I realize that the last 2 years prices have gone crazy , but I'm beginning to believe there's a little greed going on . On another note , some Aldis have very little if any stock for certain items. One local Aldis I went to had no lasagna noodles and when I asked , the guy told me that that's a special holiday item. Really, ?? .. I need a holiday to make lasagna.. too bad . I hope the upper mgt . is reading these reviews instead of just their profit sheets , because those profits will be falling without us...

So happy I finally don't have to go to middleburg or Gainesville for aldi! What I like even more is how kind and helpful the employees are here... I was shopping by myself with a 2 month old, 2 year old and 4 year old, who naturally we're being fairly chaotic in the store, they smiled and made us feel welcomed, then as we were checking out, after I unloaded my entire cart, the register wasn't working and they had to move us to a different one, and in the same moment my 4 year old decided it was the perfect moment to need the bathroom, without hesitation the 2 employees said, no problem we got this go ahead, moved all my stuff for me while I took her to the restroom, when I came out everything was ready to be paid for and they were so patient and helpful throughput.... this makes all the difference as a mom with a young bunch which we definitely don't get with the other local stores in starke.... definitely happy with our new favorite...

Produce was not very good quality. Need extra cashiers. When have delivery shoppers wish could just scan payment for customer and leave. Seems so odd that Aldi has to recheck out items already scanned via delivery driver apps . Would love to see aldi work more with delivery driver platform for a more smooth checkout process. Love aldi still. Just love few improvements. The quarter in the carts would love to do away with for regular customers maybe give them a free key for carts or elderly as carts unlocking can be complicated for elderly. Aldi is a great place...
