H-E-B — Local services in Stephenville

Was in this store in the am…….selected an ice cream treat, it was on sale, $2 off reg price, but no coupon available nor was there a bar code to be scanned. Upon explaining this bit of news w/cashier, she sent a female employee back to get more details. She returned saying she couldn’t even find the product. REALLY????? A gentleman standing in line behind me verified what I saw as he too almost purchased the same item. The cashier just stood there, blank look on her face, the other employee disappeared…….I stormed out as I had other appmt. Point is……..this has to be one of the worst H‑E‑B stores I’ve ever been in. The store was so crowded….not so much w/customers but stacks and stacks of boxed merchandise. Impossible to maneuver in addition, the employees that do the curb side shopping have completely taken over the store. I understand the service and it’s merit but the aisles are blocked by the massive carts in addition large swaths of shelves are blocked from access for regular customers. Stocking is a necessary chore for grocery stores…has anyone thought about stocking after hours so customers are not bottle-necked in main aisles? A more efficient system needs to be devised for filling curb side orders so other customers who choose to shop inside are able to even access many of the shelves that are being blocked by these large carts. The employees using this system are not apologetic, they are not accommodating…….to regular shoppers. Good concept but very bad implementation. I despise this store. I must find an...

I've been here several times. The last two times we're a horrendous experience. The stores a mess. I can look past that of course becouse half the stores in this town are in need of being condemned. Last two times here I've had issues with the staff. Rude, arrogant, unhelpful. They can't seem to say anything nice to me. I've never had a problem with an heb anywhere else. The first bad experience I had I placed my review. The manager contacted me a week later or so and her excuse was...the guys a good Christian. He wouldn't intentionally be rude. Yeah ok lady your nuts. Not everyone shares your belief or uses a belief as an excuse. But I went along with it to find a mature solution. But nothing came of it. Becouse this last time I went here I suffered retaliation from the staff. Makeing fun of how much I bought. Got ugly stares from the staff involved last time. Couldnt get help out the door to my car. The bagger just laughed about it. Everytime I drop products in the parking lot becouse they are to lazy or boast to assist me. I can fairly say I've developed a hatred of this location. No one likes a bully. I'm a customer and I will get respect when due. I don't say anything rude or inappropriate. I go in this store about my business and get on with life. But yet I'm still haveing issues that the manager refuses to fix. I think at this point these employees need about 2 write ups. No customer deserves to be treated this way and it's highly unprofessional. The manager seems to be lacking a basic understanding of...

Always an amazing and friendly staff always willing to help you. They even offer help out with your groceries. I know it's a little more pricey than going to Walmart. But if you're shopping specials you can save more than going to Walmart. It's a really nice environment you do sometimes need to check make sure that you're getting the freshest item. And I'm talking about that with like canned items box items things like that they do tend to check dairy in breading items quite frequently if not daily and produce. But definitely check your other items that you're getting something fresh. Cuz some of those items have been there for quite a period of time. But I think they're getting better about that I just started recently going back to HEB. Again I cannot express enough how friendly their staff is even if it's not the person that works in that department they're willing to stop and help you even if they're in the middle of doing something. It's just a much better environment though a little more confusing since they've rearranged. But, still the same great staff and friendly attitude. Will always be supportive of...
