Stephenville isn’t a very large city, closer to a warm community. That was the expectation coming into this restaurant, and it sure as hell delivered. When I came in the service was incredible, very polite people. The English isn’t the best all around but the point gets across very easily. They know what’s on the menu and explained the dishes thoroughly which impressed me. The feeling of the establishment is similar to an average chinatown-esque restaurant, there is nothing outstanding about it, chairs were comfortable enough to forget about, but the tables were a little crooked rocking back and forth. The food went from average to a little above average and I appreciate that, I don’t need to be mesmerized each day, just satisfied. They serve an appetizer of miso soup- very salty, which was not very impressive. I ordered the drunken noodles. They were nothing extraordinary, not saucy like I am used to. It’s like they were pan fried and all the sauce dried up in the pan. At a spice level 4/5, it was spicy but that’s really it. The pineapple fried rice was delicious seasoned very evenly the pineapple added a sweet bomb every time you ate it, my only gripe with the dish would be the rice was also a little dry similar to the drunken noodles. Overall, Pattaya Thai Kitchen isn’t a bad place to stop when you’re hungry the pricing might look a little overwhelming but the portion sizes are built for 2, or 1 plus leftovers. This place isn’t a must go but if you’re hungry and looking for something to eat I wouldn’t pass...

I’m vegan and usually have a tough time finding truly satisfying food while traveling—but Pattaya Thai in Stephenville, TX completely blew me away. That said, let me be clear: this place isn’t just “good for vegans”—it’s outstanding for anyone who loves incredible, flavorful food.
The service was exceptional—genuinely kind and helpful. I mentioned I was vegan, and my server recommended the yellow curry with vegetables. That dish? Absolutely unreal. Rich, creamy, full of depth—it hit every note. I had originally asked for drunken noodles, but they couldn’t be done vegan... and honestly, I’m glad. The curry was next-level.
I also tried the avocado roll—simple, yes, but so well-executed: fresh, silky, and surprisingly memorable.
What really stood out was how welcoming the experience felt. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or a meat-eater, you’re going to eat well here. The flavors are bold, the ingredients fresh, and the love in the food is obvious.
This isn’t a “vegan restaurant”—it’s a damn good restaurant, full stop. If you’re anywhere near Stephenville, make this a destination. I'll be dreaming of that curry for...
Read moreThis is honestly the worst Thai Cuisine I have ever had!!! Upon arrival, you are welcomed by the heartwarming embrace of no one! The atmosphere of this restaurant is abysmal, but they are very understaffed from the looks of it. I would highly recommend NOT dining in.
I personally ordered the Red Curry with a spice level of 3 + Chicken and Vegetables; Unfortunately what I revived was a soupy mess that had some red chili flakes sprinkled on top. The chicken tasted and looked rubbery + was 100% microwave (with a hint aftertaste of being a week old if not more). The curry was oily, greasy, and even seemed watery! Absolutely disgusting. Not only do you get the soup, but it’s also served with some of the most overcooked and ill-prepared fried rice you could possibly think of. You would think there was a child in the back making the food!! I would 100% recommend not coming here and just treating yourself to somewhere better around the restaurant. My party and I are never coming back,...
