This bookstore is truly something special. From the outside, it looks unassuming, but once you step inside, it’s like walking into a treasure trove of stories. The shelves are packed to the brim and twist through the shop in a way that feels like a cozy maze—you could spend hours exploring and still feel like there’s more to uncover.

The atmosphere is unmatched. Beautiful antique lighting casts a warm glow over the space, giving it a nostalgic, timeless feel. My mom absolutely loved it and requested we leave her in there for at least a week with daily snack and tea runs. Even my dad and brothers, who aren’t usually big readers, enjoyed wandering through the aisles and discovering books that caught their eye.

It is not arranged perfectly in order as a Barnes & Noble, and i doubt there are many current releases but if you are looking for great prices and love books half as much as myself... you'll love it. I stopped on a whim and got 2 full sets of books by an author i have been recommended on numerous occasions and for slightly more than what his 1st paperback would have cost me new. I already have designs on going back with a comprehensive list of books I am after so that I can search for some more specifically. Lots of hardcover, lots of paperbacks. Absolutely WONDERFUL bookstore. I went in looking for old dictionaries for my classroom and the owner was a huge help. Not only did I find a super cool 3rd edition dictionary, but all my books came with a story too, simply through chatting with the owner and learning the backstory of some of the books I was interested in!!! Great customer service and great experience. I will definitely be back. Some people won’t get it, but a book store like Blue Moon Books is truly a magical place.
