I've used Cook's Pest Control in the past. I wasn't pleased with my second property I had Cook's to service. So, I've decided to do a third time which is the last time. I'm such a disappointment customer. The communication is awful, the service for pest control service is awful. I explained to Cook's upon getting service I live in a wooded area so I'll like to receive service at least once a week after my initial first service, I was told that would be fine because the service is paid three months in advance. It took 7 or more calls before I recieved a called back to receive that second service which is a month & 2 weeks later. Thanks to the receptionist for making that call happen asap has she promised. Thanks to the supervisor who reached out & was willing to do the service himself if it haven't been taken care of. The technician wasn't knowledgable about anything to do far has keeping the bugs maintained in between service. The technician mention that my mulch in my front yard was maybe the reason for the bugs. I then explained to him I haven't seen any bugs since we laid a fresh batch of mulch down. Then he replies that must have suffocated them. First off with Cook's you pay in quarters which is every three months so the service is already paid for rather you receive it or not, Secondly I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND COOK'S due to my last two poor experiences. Lastly try at your own risk. I'm done trying at this point I just feel like I'm giving away free money without the full service. Yes I'm a VERY DISAPPOINTMENT customer. My first time around was so much more pleasant the technician gave the do's & don'ts, the service was completed in a timely manner with accurate results, the technician was always a joyful spirit when coming to my home, the technician was very knowledgable, I can't even remember the technician name to mention him in the post but this was between 2016-2018 years ago in the College Park/ Atlanta area. I really do miss that technician. This is my GOODBYE to Cook's. Please improve you'll customer service communication for scheduling appointment for service in between service dates, return calls & traing technician's on being knowledgeable. The service was so rushed the technician's both times could've stayed in the truck quick has the service was completed. No paperwork was left to acknowledge me of what was done like it had been done in the past. My very first experience the technician did a thorough & full service for pest control has I was promised. “Cook’s” Full disclosure, upfront, friendly, courteous, I’m a repeat customer, diff location in metro Atlanta but repeat, nevertheless..like the guarantees if problem still exist, they’ll come out again to re-treat. They listen to assess your needs so that you both can be satisfied. They try to exceed your needs. I was unsure whether to continue my Service provider since I could not just transfer prior services from old address..diff offices for diff locations. But, they won me over be seeing how they could fit all my service needs in my budget. Costly but not too much considering what it’d cost in event there’s activity especially termites et. Termite bond is transferrable to new homeowner when Selling for fraction of cost to start “new”. Concerned about crawl spaces and shared my overwhelming concerns to protect not just around perimeter , inside and general premises but also, the crawl spaces. They provided solutions-vents automated to open and close depending on time of yr and to provide ventilation and keep bugs n creepy cranky pests, insects out…this is new territory for me. You see, unfamiliar and no experience or knowledge regarding crawl spaces and manual vents not as efficient and was not told how that I’d to manually open and close vents for chg of seasons. Tabs to open and close the manual vents per builder were not even all adequately covered and tabs not all inserted so that client can pull close or open!so, they also, educate and substantiate why you should chose these diff options. I’m not for buying just to buy; I’ve to see the added value and benefits and cost effectiveness. They followup until they’re able to teach you for schedule changes, providing more info or just to answer questions. I just wish services were “bundled”, to keep up with payment and or services, perhaps, something else to look fwd to. We’re in a changing world! I canceled my contract in September 2015 because I was dissatisfied with the service. I had ants coming in my home even though they claimed to have treated for them. Right after I cancelled, I saw the Cooks truck outside my home...I questioned why they were there as I had canceled my monthly service and was told they had to check on the termite baits they had installed. A couple of days later, I had an huge cockroaches coming into my home. I highly suspect that Cooks put them there during the so called check. I still received bills every month and had to repeatedly call to tell them to stop the bills, however in January 2016, I got a threatening letter from a collection agency. Once again I called, this time speaking to a manager. He promised me the billed would stop and that my service was canceled. The next day another Cook's truck was outside, but I didn't see when he arrived. I went out and asked him why he was there and what was he doing to the ground outside my home. He said he was uninstalling the termite baits. I called the company and was told that the termite baits were rented by me, even though I paid $599.00 for the termite service. Not too surprising, but very upsetting, I started to see roached and ants in my home, when there was none before the unexpected visit. I still got yet another bill even after this! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! IF YOU CANCEL, THEY WILL BRING BUGS TO YOUR HOME, I GUESS HOPING THAT YOU WILL CALL THEM AGAIN TO GET RID OF THEM! OR JUST TO SPITE YOU BECAUSE...
