It all started when I needed a smog, a friend referred me to this place so I went and I needed a new catalytic converter my transmission flushed and a transmission speed sensor. I bought the transmission fluid separately had him do all that for $500. I have to wait for 6 hours to have them finish this. Then I go to get the car smogged and the people at the smog place told me that my catalytic converter was not a California approved because it did not have California registration number stamped on it. So I drive back over to 209 Motorsports I have to wait for an hour before someone talks to me. Finally I walk up to the counter and two of them are sitting there chit-chatting and I ask what's taking so long they said. O, let's go check your car out now. They looked at it and could not find the registration number so they told me they'd have to take the cat back off turn it around and then I'll be good to go. But I had to leave and come back the next day because they're exhaust guy was not there at 3:40 in the afternoon . So I had to drive back again from Manteca to Stockton hand them the car at 11 o'clock and took a uber back home. Waited till about 4:20 and I had to call them back to tell me my car was going to be ready at 5 I picked it up and it looks like a different catalytic converter. They broke my bolts on my exhaust manifold, but they put new ones on and they welded the cat directly onto the exhaust manifold flange definitely not the cleanest welds I've seen. Of course I did not get charged more for them to do the job right the second time! Which they should have done in the first place. Also I had a PCV hose that needed to be replaced which is only about 4 inches long I asked him to do that and they said they did not know where the hose Ran So they didn't want to do it. I took off my air intake and there was easy as pie plain as day. Total Car Care my butt! I told the owner Chris that I needed my money back for what it cost me to use uber round trip which was $44 he gave me fifty but was reluctant to do so. He was also Unapologetic and did not seem to care about his customers. I would not recommend the shop to anyone. My car does work but only after a lot of headaches and wasted...

Was referred by a friend took my car in check engine light was reading p0420 they decided to put new censors and a new distributor cap rather than check wiring or catalytic converter. I told them I didnt care how they did it, I just need the code to be gone and pass smog.
