I showed up today on Saturday at 5.15 pm on beautiful sunny day and needed a large order for Italian theme get together on next day Sunday and food was closed with people inside. Hours off operations show 12-6 and they are closed tomorrow! Called them on inside and was told slicer was broken or a person had to go home? I said I need a large order and that’s to bad you miss out on my order and inconvenient for me and want to give them as small retailer and have given business in past! This is not a good way of doing business and will go elsewhere, since no effort was done to open door for me when I said I needed a large order. Very disappointing and not good business sadly to inconvenient me and promised food to guests and promote their local business to other who are coming to party tomorrow. Oh well it’s what you put in to it you get out of ….done spending my money here
Reply owner is a joke I was never rude and they sell More than meat to sliced , if you are open until 6 pm you should be open and let me in to buy food that doesn’t need to be sliced….. Seriously his pride to not acknowledge not stay open his time in food and on line and be away on a wedding and not instruct to stay open to his staff is plain rude by him and his business! Good luck your business and you all have a fake face in a great business try to blame me and hide behind your own mistake and not want to be open your time you say you should be and can’t accept a criticism of what happened ! What a shame I put my trust in your business and trusted you and your wife and staff.
You ruin your business and are not nice people to not apoligize and will NEVER step in your door ever and it proves with bad review sandwiches you can’t handle bad reviews! More to follow stay away this guy and this store!
Go to Shaws he tells me on FB messenger and seriously unreal how bad business of a person can you be to say that to customers if you didn’t stay open Until 6 pm published time on line and in door and let me buy anything else that did not need a slicer! His pride is higher for him than to his show his face and apologize how rude of a businessman and his staff was and acknowledge that they should have stayed open until 6 pm and let me get anything besides what needed to be sliced and apologize. No he wants me stay away from his store and tells me go to Shaws on FB messenger……seriously after I was a customer and was on his email list and bought goods in past! No MORE! I will travel to other (Italian) speciality stores that treat you with better respect and better prices, plus that have more different specialty products. Shame on you as a businessman and store! Stay away from this store and these people! Plus inform anyone in Sturbridge area and surrounding and all that will read this! Be aware to be...
Read moreThis is a long overdue review for one of my favorite spots in Sturbridge.
Mike and Laurie have created an absolute gem with this Italian market. It’s been open for a few years now, but every time I stop in, I’m reminded how lucky we are to have a place like this locally. I finally had to write a review.
The store is small but mighty—don’t let the size fool you. Every inch is thoughtfully stocked with quality staples for Italian cooking: imported pastas, olive oils, vinegars, sauces, canned tomatoes, sweets, and all the pantry goods that are hard to find anywhere else.
The deli case is always top-notch—fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, salami, olives, and an amazing selection of imported cheeses. And if you time it right, the fresh bread is a total win. One of my absolute favorite lazy dinners is grabbing their antipasto with a loaf of that bread—so simple and satisfying.
They also have an excellent wine selection that pairs beautifully with everything they sell—whether you’re cooking a full meal or just creating a quick spread.
And don’t skip the freezer section. Everything I’ve tried has been to die for — easy meals, great flavors, and high quality.
Most importantly, Mike and Laurie are just genuinely kind, welcoming people who clearly love what they do. This isn’t just a store—it’s a little slice of Italy that brings warmth, comfort, and connection to our community.
If you haven’t been yet, go. You’ll walk out with full bags, delicious ideas, and a...
Read moreWe stopped into Tutti Quanti with my wife and kids and were instantly transported straight back to my favorite Italian market. As soon as I opened my mouth, the owner asked, “Are you from Staten or Long Island?” — and nailed it! You know you’re in a real Italian market when they can clock your New York roots just from how you order a cannoli.
And oh, the cannolis. Fresh-filled to order, perfect crunch, sweet ricotta, chocolate chips — the works. They practically made us want to do the Italian hand gesture on the way out. The kids loved them, my wife loved them, and honestly, I’m still dreaming about grabbing another dozen next time.
This place is the real deal — friendly, authentic, and stocked with everything Italian you could imagine. If you’re anywhere near Sturbridge, do yourself a favor and stop in. You’ll leave with a full heart, a full stomach, and probably a bag of...
