Been there twice now in a row. 1st time we got there & the manager was there, the ONLY worker there that day. I NEEDED her to set up the new iPad tablet I JUST bought right then, bc I didn't know ANYTHING about how to set it up or what to answer for the set up questions . Well only to have the 1 worker there go back & forth from us, to another customer who came in just as the manager was supposed to get set up on my new tablet--so she left me there to do it myself. I got some things set up wrong bc of it. Then she came back over to us after I was done botching up the set up on the tablet bc I didn't have her help & demanded that we (my husband & I) give her a 5 star rating & even checked on my own phone & my husband's...making sure we gave her a 5 star rating!!! Ugh!! It was a nightmare. Also, said manager successfully ordered us & we paid for 2 tablet protectors that were to be send to the store there in Franklin, PA. My husband is a truck driver & we wouldn't be home to get said order (tablet protectors) that were ordered...so they were to be sent to the store. We'll, we called like 3 times to see if our ordered screen protectors came in. They at first said they didn't know, to call back. I called back & they said they checked & our screen protectors were in. WELL, this SAME supposable "5 star" manager repackaged them & sent them back. So, NO they did NOT have our order & we had to go to AT&T just like an hour ago for a 2nd visit...& wait like 90 min to even be waited on by 1 worker in front & we never even saw the District Manager in the back. No one cared this happened & all they offered to do is reorder it for us...which is NO help to my husband as he's leaving now to go back on the road (long haul truck driver). The 1 worker told us after we were there for at least 90 min of waiting. The District Manager who was there & knew of this problem...NEVER even came out & offered us an appology in any form for the hassel & HORRIBLE service we recieved from there. We are going to do our best NEVER to go back there again!! And when we're out of contract w/AT&T...we're switching companies IMMEDIATELY!!!! We've had sooooo much trouble with AT&T & now these last 2 HORRIBLE in person visits to the Franklin, PA store. Of course you're probably ONLY see 5 star ratings BC THEY STAND OVER YOUR SHOULDER DEMANDING A 5 STAR REVIEW & ACTUALLY CHECK WHILE YOUR THERE TO MAKE SURE YOU DUD A 5 STAR REVIEW!!! I'd suggest NO ONE ever go to this store in Franklin, PA. IDK how other AT&T stores do business, but stay away...
Read moreLess than a year ago my family started to switch to AT&T after more than 20 years with the competition after years of declining reception issues and being told they were making no efforts to improve coverage in our area. While our first visit was succesful, today's was absolutely discouraging. We went in with the intent of switching one of our lines from said competitor and upgrading another phone already with AT&T. We were there less than 15 minutes in which we were told the associates had no idea what specials/promotions were currently being run. They had no idea how to transfer our phone still with the competition to AT&T (which we did for 3 lines when we switched a few months ago) and in that time the associate answered 3 different phone calls while supposedly helping us. Sometimes when he was in mid-sentence with us with no apologies. The final straw was, after the third phone call, the associate proceeded to go help someone else that came in the door after us while we were standing there waiting for him. Extremely dissappointing since this is the only store in town and happens to be right across the street from my workplace. I guess I'll either be staying with the competition or driving 45 minutes to the next nearest store in hopes of more competent help. I've got 2 more lines I was interested in switching as well but have serious doubts now. I only gave 1 star because it wouldn't let me...
Read moreIt was a great experience. Very friendly representatives working when I went in. The environment is comfortable, fun, happy, the employees worked so well together, it was obvious that they are on the same team and enjoy what they do. So if you go into the Franklin AT&T, look for Vern and Deena, and tell them that they are greatly appreciated for the fantastic customer service that they provide. Being a customer care representative is more than selling someone something and taking their money. From phones, to food, to gas,.....customer service is about helping your customer and providing a comfortable non threatening environment to do it. Controlling the situation and knowing what to do. It’s a hard job, really hard job. One of the hardest. Thank you for all of your help and patience with me. I was pleasantly surprised that it was cheaper than straight talk. Plus, I can go right to any of their stores to get help all around venango county. If you’ve ever had Straight talk, you know that you have to call a calling center to get any help.
