The service is great! When I enter, they already know my drink choice. They are personable, social, and overall just fun to converse with. The food is very good but does have a small variation in quality depending on when you’re there. At times, the food will sit out for an extended amount of time and get a little dry but not unbearable by any means. On the flip side, if you’re there when they’re busy (and activity changing out food) it is beyond good, but rather great. As far as atmosphere goes, frosted glass lines all the booths with pictures of catfish and other mystic animals as well as Chinese fans and lanterns throughout the room. My personal highlight about this is that rather than playing the over-energetic (in my opinion) K-pop through the speakers like other similar restaurants do, they play a more classy style of music with Chinese roots. Had a TERRIBLE experience. When I arrived for dinner the lo mein was empty and fried shrimp was near empty. I say near empty because there were about 6 pieces of shrimp in the container, along with mozz cheese sticks, and something else, not sure what it was, but why were there 3 things in one pan? I asked for fresh shrimp to be brought and was told it was coming. In a moment I heard :Shrimp is here" I went back to the buffet and it looked like nothing was added, or taken away from the pan. I spoke to the owner, asking for re-freshing on the shrimp and he told me it was fresh, as he removed a piece with his fingers and ate it there. We came here today for my son's bday dinner and were disappointed. I tried different foods here and there wasn't much for a buffet. Each one that I tried seemed like it had a strange aftertaste to it. My son ordered a Mt. Dew, which was a brownish color...had barely any taste. Now just looking g at it, we knew it wasn't right. Since the food had a strange taste, I tried the salad...wait what salad...all there was was lettuce and cucumbers, nothing else at all.
