BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front): Good selection of groceries and fantastic service!

I went in to pick up some stuff to make a Mother's Day dinner for my wife. There was quite a selection of choices for anything I wanted.

She wanted s'mores after dinner, but I was having issues finding the components. And then I rounded a corner and they were all right there together at the end of one aisle. It made finding everything easy!

I checked out with a real human cashier (no self-checkout here). I politely declined her offer to have someone help me get my groceries or to the car since I didn't have that much. But as I was walking out of the store, an employee offered to help me with my purchases. His name tag said he was the Store Director! How could I refuse?

I'm impressed with the service, and thoroughly impressed that someone that high on the corporate ladder would readily help out his team by taking on such...

Not real happy with any food store prices at the current time. They do offer some very good specials each week. The shelves have a nice stock and selection. There are more items to get here than the empty shelves at Walmart. Employees are super nice and helpful. Enjoy my trips there when i go . Just got back from another trip to this store. What a change. No customer service all employees were standing in front of the office talking and doing nothing. Had no help around the store and while I was doing my own check out they were doing nothing. This was the first time I had to carry my own groceries out also and having a disability was very bothersome with them all just b s ing at the end of the check stands. This was the worst Trip ever to this store I almost thought I was at Walmart. It was a very close tie. Could not believe in a short time this place has fell apart. Now I...

My second visit to Brookshire in Sulphur Springs. The first time i didn’t make it into the store -the parking lot was full and busy, decided to leave and go to Walmart. This visit the parking lot was small and busy but i found a spot.They carry the basics, clean, decently stocked shelves. The meat counter looked nice the deli was busy, it was lunch time. They only had one check out open on a Friday. They do offer self check out. Which i chose, then it was brought to my attention by an employee that i had more than the allowed items of 20. Oops the sign was plenty big, i was just busy getting the “lay of the land”of an unfamiliar store. As i left i found another small parking area to the side of the store which made it way more useable. I will probably try again....
