We've been here once before and it was good. This time, the food was good but service wasn't. Waited 15 minutes to be seated before a guy told us to seat ourselves wherever, he waived his hand towards the dining room and walked off. After another 10 minutes came and took our drink order and somewhat scolded us for seating ourselves. It didn't get any friendlier from there! She brought us the wrong drink, which she corrected, but if we needed refills we had to find her and she would slam our cups down on the table to the point they would spill. My daughter was burnt by the water in the hot tea when the waitress slapped it down in front of her--it splashed out of the tea pot. Service, 0 stars.
The food: this buffet has a lot to offer! The honey chicken is well flavored and has a nice mix of pineapple in it and the butter potatoes are so tender. They also have a large amount of dessert options, including ice cream, apple pie, cakes and fresh fruit (the watermelon worried me, it was super pale colored but was crisp, juicy and sweet) and my husband said the sushi was pretty good. Buffet, 5 stars.
Overall: the buffet is around $12 plus drink. The quality of the food is very good, especially for the price. Would have been 5 stars had your staff...
Read moreI’m a trucker and I ordered door dash to my truck. About once a week I order the same thing delivered to my truck in cities all over the country. Now obviously, new York ,Pennsylvania , New Jersey has the best Chinese. I admittedly thought this place wouldn’t be good because where in some small town in Texas lol.
I ordered chicken wings which were hot and fresh.
I ordered chicken and mixed vegetables which had huge chunks of chicken. A lot of places use soggy tiny strips of some unknown chicken meat lol. And it had tons of vegetables in it.
I also ordered wonton soup mixed with egg drop. It was very hot and fresh with a lot of wontons . Now personally I like when they put the little strips of pork in the wontons and when they put the green onions .i wish more places did that like they do in the northeast.
They also added hot matters and hot chili oil to my bag like I asked. A lot of fake Chinese restaurants don’t have it.
Anyways, this place rocked thank you so much for a good meal for this tired trucker. See you next time.
Thanks Broadway buffet keep up...
Read moreWho doesn't love a Chinese buffet? For a reasonable price, you can eat until you decide you're done! My favorite items include the sauteed mushrooms, the string beans and chicken, broccoli and beef, egg rolls, cream cheese wontons, and hot and spicy soup. There's also a standard selection of steamed rice, fried rice, and noodles, as well as spring rolls, General Tso's chicken, beef dumplings, sweet and sour chicken, a handful of soups, etc. As a special treat, there is as a selection of sushi, some sashimi, and even oysters on the half shell with a nicely spicy sauce. If someone in your party doesn't like Chinese food, there's also a limited selection of pizza and a few other American classics. Desserts include cake and other pastries, fruit and fruit toppings, and almost a dozen flavors of ice cream. All followed, of course, by the obligatory fortune cookie. The wake staff is friendly and helpful. Empty plates are whisked away quickly, and my glass of tea had never gone empty. Over all, one of my favorite places in...
