I needed a battery, I walked into an OReilly's near my home and pretty much had to beg the guy to check my battery, he walked out looked at it and said "That's not our battery." ~ I know this it came with the car so I asked again can you check it to see if it needs to be replaced, he said he didn't need to it had corrosion on the cable I just needed to pour some coke on it and it would work just fine... So I tried that and of course it was not the problem so the next day I drove to Summerville and stopped at AutoZone, I am so Thankful that I met Lauren who willingly and happily came out to check the battery and we discovered it was indeed done. So I bought a battery thinking I would go home and install it myself but Lauren told me she could do it saving me a core charge, and making certain (I'm sure, LOL) that it was installed properly. She went thru the whole process even telling me what she was doing so that if I had to ever DIY it, I would now have the knowledge. I was completely impressed that she treated me with kindness (We don't see that much anymore) and was extremely helpful and FILLED with Joy the whole time. Such a pleasant experience and a kind and friendly place to shop for all your vehicle needs....
Read moreBad attitude from staff. Zero knowledge of any vehicle ever produced. I'm not even sure that most of the staff there even know that they work in an autoparts store. I just moved here a year ago and been to this store in Summerville ga about 12 times since and 10 of those times I had to go to another town or other parts store for what I needed. The staff here don't even know what products that they carry. They seem to get upset when you ask for help and really get upset when you break out you phone and show them that they have the part you need in stock that they could not find. It's truly disturbing. I will drive for 45 min from now on to go to one of the other AutoZone store or maybe even change my go-to part store to someone that knows what...
