Big restaurant . Nice wait staff. But the food wasn't to mine or my Guatemalan Husband's liking! The only thing that was good was my picó de gallo with Avocado and lime. But I had ordered a small side and they brought me a huge plate that also had asked for guacamole on it! It alone cost over 7 dollars. The rice was dry and the refried beans weren't good. I was not pleased with my Chile Rellanos either. The food had no spicy flavor . The pepper tasted as if it had been boiled and had zero flavor of a pepper. Also, I have never had Chile rellanos that were breaded! I just ate some of it as I was hungry, but I left over half of it on my plate. My Husband ordered Molcate. It was cold! The container it was in was not even hot. He left almost all of it at the restaurant. He believes that maybe the staff were from a different area of Mexico than where the people are from at the restaurants we usually eat at. I agree. They do play Mexican music, but it was none I have ever heard and believe me, I know the words and can sing almost every Mexican song! Rest rooms were very clean. Restaurant was very clean. Staff were nice. Handicapped seating available. Lots of parking spaces in a big lot and several handicapped spaces. I noticed a small bar, and they do have an outdoor...

To bring in the New Year for 2022, I invited 8 of my closest friends to town; they wanted Mexican food. I looked up reviews and bam, 4.5 stars...we are.going! The experience- upon arrival, we were met at the door with this dumpy, rude, whomever who talked to a friends wife with such disrespect that I intervened; to ensure he was aware of his inappropriate behavior...No very welcoming! Nonetheless, after addressing, we were seated and from that point our server was okay. I have been to many restaurants, to include Mexican and I will tell you that the customer service and the food is subpar. The drinks were watered down and the food seemed to have been sitting. This morning, 3 people woke up with stomach issues and and I must say...I would never go back! First time and the last...

This was one of my favorite places when I was younger. However, the quality has really declined through the years. Last year when I visited Summerville we decided to eat here and it was very bland. I got the chicken fajitas that came out lukewarm, and mildly seasoned, but I remembered that El Pueblito has always been a decent place to eat in town. Well, I came back today and my sister ordered to-go. I ordered the chicken Special Maya and everything started out good. At one point, one of the pieces of chicken was rubbery and grossed me out a little. I toughed through out in order to not make anyone grossed out..until I nearly choked on a quarter sized bone. I really loved this place through throughout the years, but I think after the last few visits the quality is no...

Special Panchito was a revelation—succulent grilled chicken breast paired with a perfectly melted cheese quesadilla, a scrumptious chicken burrito drenched in a heavenly cheese dip, all served alongside fluffy white rice crowned with mouthwatering chorizo. The chorizo was the star of the show, with its rich flavors and delectable texture that had us savoring every bite. A month later and my mouth is watering at the thought… Good price…about $13 per person. Good beer and margaritas! (Standard Dos Equis and such) Waiter treated us like family!
