DO NOT SUPPORT WORKOUT ANYTIME. Member for less than a month before the terror started. The company claims "We Stand BY OUR VALUES... Attitude... Care... Excellence," however, I've been waiting for THREE MONTHS for a call back from its OWNER or DISTRICT MANAGER, for overcharges, misreprestation of the programs, failure to provide copy of contract, and rude and disrespectful attitude from its manager, SERENA. She is the gatekeeper. She refused to return calls or forward the concerns to the appropriate individual. Even after I sent a letter to the Sumter location via the Atlanta-based Franchisor, nearly a week ago, I STILL have not been contacted.
Serena has refused to properly manage my account and requests for a refund, hold, and cancellation. I'm having to file chargebacks with my bank to recoup the unauthorized funds, which could be considered theft. Apparently Workout Anytime's "VALUES" do not undiscrimiately apply to ALL MEMBERS. If you are considering Workout Anytime, I strongly suggest that you find another gym where you will be respected, valued, and appreciated. I literally saw this woman ONCE, and spoke with her briefly on the phone, ONCE, and see no reason for the disregard. Clearly she was disingenuous when she said "We're all like family here.... We treat everyone like family." Scary!
I'm a local business owner. The lack of professionalism and poor business ethics are unacceptable. Don't trust Workout Anytime with AUTOMATIC PAYMENT. They mismanages accounts, do not respect your requests, and will disappear the moment a concern is brought to their attention. All members are not treated equal.

Update: This morning I came to request a cancellation. Shortly after entering, I was promptly informed about the forthcoming improvements. While I commend the prompt response, it is regrettable that awareness of these adjustments only arose through feedback channels. I intend to await the implementation of these changes and observe their effect. Nevertheless, I am grateful for the acknowledgment of my concerns and actually being heard!
I've been hitting up this gym since way back in 2017, and let me tell you, it's been a rollercoaster ride. Lately, though, it feels like they are on a downward spiral. Just today, mid-run on the treadmill, it decided to call it quits. And don't even get me started on the bikes – most of them are just glorified coat racks at this point!
Sure, the staff bust their butts trying to keep things together, but it's pretty clear the owner isn't pulling their weight. We've seen some amazing employees come and go, thanks in large part to the excellent management they've had to deal with. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the ownership, whose neglect is glaringly evident in the gym's declining condition.
People are jumping ship left and right, heading over to places like Planet Fitness where they actually get what they pay for. With prices climbing and the gym falling apart, it's definitely got me questioning whether my membership is...

My wife has tried to cancel her membership for two months now and we are getting nowhere. We live in both NJ and SC and we requested the cancellation because she wouldn't be using the membership while we are in NJ for my surgery and have no idea when we would return. My wife needed the exercise and enjoyed the service until we were misled by the salesperson on 11/21/21. We are a elderly couple who have retired on a fixed income and she's tried numerous times talking to the Sumter location and getting nowhere. Covid has put our family in a financial bind with our children not being able to assist us. I got involved on 4/11/22 and spoke to Danielle in the Sumter location who attempted to explain to me the agreement but didn't hear anything I was saying that I didn't understand. I asked the Manager Mary to contact us but as of now nothing. So I'm reaching out to whomever can assist myself and my wife fix this. We aren't financially able to continue with visiting the location unfortunately and need this cancelled.
