Blown Away Hair Salon — Local services in Sunset

I asked for collarbone length hair when it was dry, my hair doesn’t even reach my shoulders! Clearly the woman that cut my hair doesn’t know what a collarbone is or knows how to listen to what the customer wants, i showed her with my dry and wet hair many times on what i wanted and she completely disregarded what i wanted.After she cut my hair way to short there was nothing i could do, i hoped that when i went home and styled it, it would get longer by straightening and it did nothing for it. There’s nothing that i can do about my hair and the way it looks, i can’t glue the hair i had back on. I’ve had my hair colored here many times with many pictures and ideas of what i wanted and it has NEVER EVER been correct or even remotely close to what i wanted. At least then i could change the color, but i can’t fix my hideous haircut, it’s not even remotely straight either. There’s a big divot in my hair that she said was “layers” I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who likes their hair cut straight and the way they want it, because clearly they don’t know what they are doing. I will never be returning to this place, and neither should you. I love this place. All the hair stylists here are great. I, however, really love Kenzie!

I am very picky about who does my hair because I have had some bad experiences in the past with stylists. I finally found Kenzie because I had gone to a great clips just for a haircut, and the girl there basically told me I was too fat for the haircut I wanted. I cried for so long after, especially because my hair was not what I wanted. When my hair needed to be cut again, I asked around and was told to go to Blown Away Hair Salon.

I called and made an appointment, and since I didn't know any of the hair stylists their I just asked to be set up with whoever. This ended up being Kenzie. She was super nice, easy to talk to, and understood what I wanted. She did an awesome job, so I kept going back. I even trust her so much that we do some really fun things with my hair, and it always turns out amazing!

I have been going here for over 5 years now. I truly would recommend this place to anyone who needs a hair stylist they can trust, will understand their needs, and is also friendly, so it makes you want to keep coming back.

Blown Away Salons Stylist and Owner don't actually care about how they render services to Clients and don't provide a true and incredible experience. I just went back to have my haircut corrected from the first Time I went into this Salon. My first time in the Stylist Wouldn't Stop Talking About Herself; her 4 children and step children or the fact that her husband was in school and how much his tuition was; or about her Father and his Real Estate Investing etc. At no point during the first or original appointment where any recommendations or products used ... I don't feel pampered or taken care of. The The owner came back over and wouldn't let me share how I felt about this haircut!. I stated my experience coming in and what she discussed to me. I called back and was told I couldn't receive a refund from the service. Don't waste your time going to this Salon the professionalism...
