Estate Resale — Local services in Surprise

Beware....they give you a contract for a year. We received one check in Dec, 2023 for $25.95, but still had a fine china set that "we" priced at $135. She told us that was too much, but when we went back to check on it in Dec. 2023, it was there and they marked it up to $147?(trying to get more) even after she told us $135 was too much. Oh well, so when we went back before March(end of contract), the set was no where to be found before the year was up. So, we figured they sold the set, so we would get a check. This was back in February of this year(2024). Haven't received a check yet and it's October now.. If you leave items, periodically check on them, and before the year is up and settle up. We'll right it up as a loss and lesson learned. We had other Southwest Paintings that we were going to take, but we decided just to try and sell them at another place or garage sale. I love this store!

We just moved into a new house a few weeks ago, which means new furniture and decorations. Initially we went to a furniture store and we bought some of the stuff they had on sale, and we accepted the fact that they were on sale for a reason and we fixed the cosmetic issues as best we could. Then by pure chance we came across this place. Bookshelves, tables, chairs, couches, cabinets, you name it and it's here! And the best part? The items are in wonderful shape! They will also deliver, something that the furniture store would not do for discounted items.

They get new furniture in on Tuesday and Wednesday, and after overhearing their conversations with other clients they are booked out for over a month so there will be lots of new stuff every week!

If you are looking for new furniture, or paintings, maybe gifts, this place should be high...

Beware!!!!! This people will take your furniture and trick you into a contract that doesn’t show the rules they will come out with at the end. I left my Consigment there 10 months ago: supposedly I should have received the amount set on the contract minus 45% and $65 for the moving company they used. After receiving the 4th check (which was nothing of the price we had originally discussed) I visited the store and I was advised: every month the price went down by 10% and after the 6th month the price was dropped by 50%. BIG surprise!!!!! I would have been better off selling my stuff on social media or CL!!!! Much faster and at least I would have known how much I was really going to make off it!!!! I wish I could rate this place with less than 1 star but the system...
