05/10/2024 UPDATE
The collections calls still have not stopped even though I sent an extensive email to the manager Derek explaining the situation and that I will take further steps to get them in a lawsuit for racial discrimination and harassment on top of fraudulent overcharge fees. They do not seem to care. I see that other members have had the same experience continuously when trying to move on to another gym, just being overcharged left and right.
11/01 UPDATE I am receiving collections calls, whatever you do - DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM as they will send collections after you if you say you want to cancel a service that you didn't want or understand what entails OR that they do not even have anymore.
Signed up for the PT program that is $65 every 2 weeks (on top of the $25 monthly charge for the actual gym membership), got to do 3 classes, 1 with Matt and 2 with Shannon (which were great, kind of like CrossFit & HIIT) and then NO CLASSES AT ALL were available to sign up for because Shannon went on maternity leave. So I was promised that they will substitute the classes even though she is gone, they charged me 3 times, I still have no classes attended, after the initial first week of the Fitness Unchained, they tried to charge me a 4th time $65 (even tho after charging me twice in a week, she told me she "froze" the account), still no Fitness Unchained classes on the app/website to sign up for.
Then Julie scheduled me with a PT for a private session which I didn't ask for nor did I want (but it's included - you also have to sign up for 4 or 6 months), she sets me up for Labor Day (Sept 6th) via text and I tell her I am not in town, she texts me back and tells me that we will re-schedule, never offers a date/time to do so, the PT Ryan texts me 30 mins prior to that 6PM Sept 6th private session asking me "u coming", I send a screenshot of the convo with Julie of never accepting that time/date and telling her I am not in town. Julie refused to initially cancel this PT membership (even though I told her they can keep the first $65, instead she charges me AGAIN another $65 while I am sitting there and looks me dead in the eye and tells me she "froze" it (HAHA, she didn't) so I am just getting charged left and right over here for stuff that I don't want/don't attend/don't go/don't want to do...
I just feel taken advantage of and really disappointed that I got treated this way.
ON THE PLUS SIDE (LOL): the gym is pretty badly maintained, you can't get to a machine unless you wanna fight the meathead packs or TikTok wanna-be influencers that are jacked up on Haterade, equipment is roached to the point you wipe, but there is still crusty sweat/dirt on there you can clearly see and now I understand why people want other people to get vaccinated - you don't come here and get Covid-19, you come here and get THAT plus some extras of who knows what :) no one wipes anything, just a...

Read moreI am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent experience at the EOS Fitness location on Bell Road and 303 on January 30th. Upon discovering my keys were missing, I was left locked out of my vehicle for several hours. This was a highly stressful situation, and unfortunately, the majority of the staff's response exacerbated the problem.
I would like to commend two employees, Quinn and Austin, for their exceptional service. They were the only individuals who took the initiative to assist me. They diligently filed an incident report, and Austin even accompanied me to search for my keys, offering to watch my truck until 8 PM that evening. Their willingness to go above and beyond was truly appreciated during this difficult time.
My interaction with the general manager (GM) was, however, deeply disappointing. Her demeanor was unprofessional and lacked any semblance of empathy. She initially stated she could review security camera footage, but that I would not be permitted to view it myself. She then abruptly left and did not return. I later learned from Quinn that, contrary to the GM's claim, staff members do not have access to the camera system. This misinformation and lack of follow-through was unacceptable. Furthermore, her appearance and demeanor were unsettling; she presented herself in a manner reminiscent of Nosferatu wearing a long black trench coat and high heeled boots, which only added to the unprofessional nature of the interaction. The GM remained unavailable for the rest of the time I was at the facility, only reappearing after my locksmith arrived and created a replacement key. Her overall attitude conveyed a distinct lack of care and concern, which was particularly upsetting given the circumstances.
I sincerely hope that EOS Fitness addresses the significant shortcomings in customer service displayed by the GM. While I am incredibly grateful for the kindness and assistance provided by Quinn and Austin, the overall experience was severely tarnished by the GM's dismissive, unhelpful, and frankly,...
