I went to both Safeway and Pretty Nails. Safeway employees were friendly and very helpful. One employee even noticed that I was carrying several items and offered to get me a cart for which I was grateful. They had a great sale on meat so I stocked up. We cooked the prime rib for Christmas and it was excellent. Pretty Nails on the other hand wasn't such a good experience. I got a gel coat mani-pedi. Both of my technicians were great. However I guess the product they use is a cheap one because I had chipping on my right hand within 24 hours. I got my nails done Monday evening and by Tuesday evening they were chipping. Since Wednesday was Christmas I had to wait until Thursday to return to the shop. A different technician repaired my nails and I left headed to Parker for a week. About halfway there I noticed that my left hand was chipping. I spent $102 plus tips to get my nails done for a low quality nail job. I had gel coat on my nails that was several weeks old and only needed a fill that looked better and certainly lasted longer than theirs. I didn't have any chips on my nails when I went into their shop and I've been doing gel for years and have never had a single chip until now. I attached a picture of my left hand. There seemed to be a lot of people with the same idea of a quick in and out visit as the parking lot had many cars. Still found convenient parking. The customers were not in a congested state and many were talkative and friendly. Employees were very willing to assist in getting what we were looking for; Mike's Popcorn, Saltine Crackers... and letting us know when others would be in; Ritz Crackers ... The products are good and usually a savings. The Surprise Marketplace also contain several fast food places, a Denny's, and other shops.
