First time eating at Jack in the Box a few nights ago. We used the mobile app to place our order. All around terrible experience. First, 4 out of 5 sandwiches were wrong. One sandwich was the entirely the wrong sandwich and then the other 3 were made incorrectly. We realized this after getting home and attempted to call and did not get an answer. So, we drove back to the restaurant another 20 minutes out of the way. By this time all the food was cold. My husband let the manager know what happened and asked that all the food be remade. The manager was extremely rude and she was very short with us. We waited another 15 minutes for the food. The manager brought the food out and again was rude to us. We checked the food and again one sandwich was the wrong sandwich and we were missing a fry. The manager locked the doors on her way back in so we knocked on the window for a few minutes and then noticed she was taking out trash. I cautiously walked up to her (it was night time and I didn't want to scare her) and told her the sandwich was wrong, she became very defensive so I tried to show her the online order receipt because she insisted that we were mistaken. She then grabbed the sandwich, said hold on and some other things under her breath tossed the sandwichandbwalk inside. I told her the attitude she had was unnecessary and we just want to eat dinner. I didn't even get to tell her about the fries. She came back after several minutes and gave me the almost correct sandwich. She very rudely said the sandwich is right but we don't have jalapeños. I told her about the fries and she went back in the restaurant. By this time we had wasted over an hour trying to get the food we ordered. Which still ended up being incorrect. We just left and took the loss. The way the manager handled that situation was completely unnecessary and childish. The order was sent out wrong 3 times! And she had the audacity to treat us like we messed up her food and treated her poorly. I will say the other two employees, a young man and young lady were very pleasant and seemingly hard working individuals. The young man was the one who originally made the order incorrectly. He took accountability for his actions, apologized, and double checked with us to make sure he had the order correct. In hindsight we should have gotten a refund and eaten somewhere else. Taking my order Kathleen rushed through messing up many items. Not listening to a single word I said and almost made me think she was intentionally saying the opposite of what I asked for. I.E I ordered a grape Powerade and Kathleen replied “large orange Powerade”. But this wasn’t even the issue I had. You see, I had to turn my truck off to be able to hear what Kathleen was saying, when I was finished ordering. My truck didn’t want to start right away. As I was starting my truck Kathleen screamed over the microphone that I was “done ordering” and “I can move along now”
I waited at the window for 3 minutes watching Kathleen take the persons order behind me. She was doing the same thing she did with me, but this time laughing and playing around with her coworker. Something you might see from a normal teenager fast food worker. To my surpise however, Kathleen looked to be atleast in her 30’s and looked to be the manager of the location.
I got my food and asked the nice girl who handed me my order what her name was, she told me her name so I asked what the name of the drive they lady was (Kathleen) and she told me her name. Kathleen then began to passive aggressively ask me if I had a issue. Being fed up, I said a few choice words and explained to her how her terrible attitude was my issue. I asked for the GMs number and she told they get new ones all the time so tough luck.
I have never written a review before, infact I’m usually not a person to cause a scene or ask for a manager. I work in the food industry as a service technician fixing equipment across Arizona. I understand the stress food workers face. But I’ve never felt this disrespected by someone before. I didn’t feel comfortable eating the food I paid for so I just tossed it.
To be fair, this location usually has good service. But the food quality is pretty poor and if you go late at night you usually are stuck waiting for a long time just to get cold food. So without Kathleens help I’d probably still be kinda disappointed.

Read moreHad a terrible experience today, the manager was rude, I asked for corporates number and was given another managers number, called back to get the correct number and no one answered. It's very 50/50 with this place you go get food and either its cold and not cooked or possible it had just been sitting there forever, sometimes you don't even get your full or correct order, or its fine and all is well. Went in there today with my kids and immediately noticed almost every drive thru order that was placed had to be delivered out the front door and the sad thing is they weren't even busy especially the drive thru. My kids needed to use the bathrooms and they were nasty with trash all over the floor and both stalls were locked with no one in them! Wanted to talk to the manager but I saw how she treated another customer in front of everyone, he didn't even do anything wrong and had just sat down to eat... I wasn't about to be treated the same way it was just awful so I walked away, finished the food and left. This place seems to be just getting worse and worse. No one should feel as uncomfortable to sit and eat at a so called clean and friendly fast food restaurant as my family and I and others did today. On top of not being able to voice your opinion because the management makes customers uncomfortable, humiliate customers, and you can't even get a hold of anyone you need to speak with because they don't want to point you in the right direction !
