E and E Unlimited — Local services in Surry

I took my F250 in for steering repair to my front wheel. I was told it was A, B, and C that was causing the issue. I said OK, let's get it done. (estimating $700-900 in costs) Then a week later they called and told me that they realized there was additional issue, we'll call it 'issue D' (adding $500+ to my bill). I said OK, order the parts and get it done. Then after the parts come in, there is yet another issue, 'issue E' (another $600+). I asked if was critical to be able to drive the vehicle or to the towing capacity. They said "No. you can drive it and tow". Also issue E negated issue D's fix so now I have the $300+ parts siting in a box. I go to pick up my truck and drive it home, no less than 20 mins of driving the truck the steering is doing the EXACT same thing I took in to be repaired for, in fact the problem is now worse! I take it back and let them know what is going on expecting them to make it right and do the job that I have now paid $1,200+ for. I leave my truck there for 4+ weeks only to get discombobulated excuses about a new issue they happen to find every time I call until they finally said "That's way F250's drive". I'm not a mechanic in any sense of the word, but I know this, my issue is not how any vehicle naturally drives. Plus they charged me an additional $300, for what, I don't know because the issue hasn't be resolved. So to recap, initial bill was $700-900 + $500 for unused parts and labor + $300 for sh!ts & giggles I guess for a total of over $1,500 with no resolution to the main issue in which I took the truck in to be repaired for in the first place. 0...

I took my car to a local mechanic shop to get an inspection but they didn't have a mechanic and were unable to make the repairs for it to pass inspection. E&E got my car in immediately. There were other unexpected repairs that were needed and they were still able to do all the work. They understood the urgency of me needing transportation and worked beyond close of business to make sure that I was able to get it back the next day. This was my first experience with this company. They were professional, The cost was comparable and they seem to know their business. My family and I were on our way out of town after a holiday weekend, and stopped to get fuel. After filling up, our pick-up wouldn't start. I called E&E and they took care of us. They had 2 tow trucks there within 30 minutes (to tow my truck and the boat trailer we were pulling). They brought us to their shop, diagnosed the problem, installed the new starter, and had us back on the road in just a few hours. All of this occurred on a holiday, when every business was closed.
