Bought Maytag washer after deliver tried to do load . Kept shutting off⦠kept calling about this they did nothing! 7 MONTHS of this aggravation, sent repair guy , he said switch needed to be replaced.. STILL NOT FIXED!!!!! Would Not Recommend At All !!!!!!
Sent repair guy n he said it was the switch , he gave me his phone number n he text me also told me owner will do something to make it right ⦠However that never happened either ā¦.when he got switch, I was on Vacation said Iād text him when I got backā¦. I was ignored, he never replaced the switch . Now he want me to pay out of pocket for another repair guy , NOON Iām not paying another company when this is still under warranty!! however that was months ago. Never replaced switch!!
It doesnāt work! Try to start it for half hr. It keeps going to Lid Lock n then will shut off again n not start! I have to keep running up n down stairs n keep trying to start it, The washer goes to Lid Lock n shuts off!!!! This is the problem, I paid for an appliance in full , that DOESNT run , keeps shutting off ! This is insane to have to deal with this everytime you want to do a LOAD of Laundry ⦠Paid for a brand new Maytag washer n itās NOOOO Good if it wonāt RUN !! SICK of having to deal with this so called brand new Maytag WASHERā¦.Fix the problem or replace it!! NOBODY SHOULD HAVE TO DEAL with this problem on a brand new WASHER!!!
Called numerous times , the so called owner told me to unplug washer for 2 minutes then plug back in, started . Try to use it again same situation goes to lid Lock then shuts off!! The guy they sent out Rich. Said donāt unplug it, he said turn the dial back n forth a few times and try again!! Still doesnāt start⦠He assured me the owner would do something⦠Rich gave me his phone number and I heard nothing back from himā¦. So I texted him again and said ok maybe youāre right order the switchā¦. He texted ,said switch came in , I was on vacation told him Iāll call him when I return home. I did text Rich and said I was home ā¦.He never responded to me whatsoever, I never got that switch replaced, Iām now back to square one. No switch replaced , Rich doesnāt have the common courtesy to return my messageā¦. The washer still has the same problem, goes to LID LOCK AND IMMEDIATELY SHUTS OFF!!! The so called OWNER ADMITTED THESE WASHERS HAVING A PROBLEM!!! Then why SELL THEM? If you know they have this problem, then get someone out to FIX the problem!!!! Stop lying and admitting these washers have this problem, stop passing the buck onto the consumer!! Then you say you had this other service company to come out to my house to repair this washer, however you forgot to mention the fact that Iām to pay for a diagnostic charge of $150.00 ,when the washer is under Manufacture warranty!!!!! I said NO WAY I am not paying for that.This company has no desire to service their customers!!! They even admit thatās washers have this problem of going to LID LOCK and then they shut OFF!!! The dishwasher was having problems I hooked up, they sent their tech out to see whats the problem was. He found it to be clogged drain line. I asked to pay for his time, he said no, hes filing it with Whirlpool warranty under a different code, so I didnt have to pay, and they got paid.. The refrigerator was delivered. The guys delivering it puts dents, knocked chunks of paint off the front, and the sides got all scrapped up. I called in, and they initially told me its an even trade because the guy fixed the dishwasher drain and I didnt have to pay him. Even though the tech said its paid for by whirlpool, and I offered to pay for his time. Then they decided to offer me touch up paint. So I got a 10 cu ft dent and scratch refrigerator, for $600. No deduction in price of coarse. I went in today and told the tech that came out for the dishwasher repair,, that he knew I offered to pay, and that he told me and the client, that it was being filed under warranty work. I understood it was a busy time (Saturday after Black Friday), so I called again the following week, and he apologized for not calling me back. Greg created an invoice, which he emailed to me later that day. However, the type of range (stainless steel) was not included in the invoice even though I specifically indicated it in our conversation. I replied to the email with the error, and he never followed up. I called the following Saturday, and Greg acknowledged forgetting to correct the invoice. He then informed me that it was my fault for calling him at such a busy time. Two times, the ball was dropped, and I am now being blamed because it was a busy time.
