If I could give 0 stars I would. If youâre considering this college please run. They are very unorganized. Trust me I understand every nursing school has its pros and cons, but this nursing school is just all out bad. Here let me explain:
I missed two clinicals due to a medical issue and turned in official doctorâs notes â just like the handbook says to do. I even made up the clinicals, submitted all the required paperwork, and got a completion grade. My instructor sent in an email stating i was in the clear and fulfilled all requirements.
I ended the class with a 93%⌠and they STILL FAILED ME.
Theyâre saying, âUnder no circumstances can you miss two clinicals.â But again â I had medical documentation, per the policy. Theyâre now making me retake a course I already passed. đĄ
They denied my appeal, claiming I didnât âproperlyâ submit my vsim . When I asked them to show me in the handbook where it says how to âproperlyâ submit it â they couldnât. Then they said I canât re-appeal⌠but guess what? Thatâs not in the handbook either.
Why is this school making up their own rules and not following their own policy, handbook and guidelines ???
I was supposed to be DONE with school in 98 days (the count down WAS real) but now theyâve added MONTHS to my timeline, put me in remediation, and want me to retake the course â for a class I passed with a 93%! THEY ARE MONEY HUNGRY !!
And let me just say this â I had a caucasian classmate who also missed two labs. She couldnât commute from Michigan because of the weather. She lost her job in Michigan, had to find a new one in Toledo, and get an apartment closer to campus. Her appeal got approved, but mine was denied. Discrimination at its finest !
Make that make sense. đ¤Ż
Itâs crazy how people can just mess up your life just because they want too. So my future is being decided based on someoneâs opinion â not facts, not grades, not policy.
Iâm speaking out because I know Iâm not the only one this has happened to. If anyone knows a good educational or administrative lawyer â please send them my way.

Read moreI started attending Ross in August of 2016 and I enrolled in the morning dental assisting program. I never in a million years thought that a 9 month program would have impacted my life in way it did. Starting with my instructor, Mrs. Vicki, she was so amazing and pushed me to do what she knew I was capable of doing. She made the entire program so awesome, which made me look forward to coming to class every single day. I am currently in my extern part of the program, where I work more with my career advisor Mrs. Dee. Talk about going above and beyond. Each and every day, morning or night, call or text, she is there with the most positive, motivating, and realistic feedback. Aside from everything I learned at Ross, I have also learned how to become a better person. Whether it was a presentation from Mrs. Dee of Lou Holtz or her answering my phone calls at 8pm. She is a role model, and extern sites even comment on the fact that her students are her top priority. I will always recommend Ross to friends or family and will always be extremely proud to say I attended Ross College...
Read moreWould give a negative star if possible. They screwed me over on financial aid, awarded me a grant that was approved and given from their financial aid office, then told me I didn't qualify due to their "online" schooling being based in Ohio and I'm in Michigan. So they took the awarded grant back and now want me to repay it after I'm out and done with school plus interest and fees. I've tried working with them, and tried to settle on a fair price even though I feel it's unfair for me to have to pay for their mistake. Have contacted the advisor, Liz and Mike and I get no assistance in settling...
