Honestly one of the worst laser tag experiences that I’ve ever had (I play frequently) and quite possibly one of the worst experiences I have had, especially, from a customer service perspective. My party went to the 8-11PM unlimited game night, and played 4 total games, though we hoped to play more but left early out of frustration and disappointment. During the first game not one of the employees asked if anyone hadn’t played here before, which my party had not and therefore were not familiar with the vests or rules. The employee proceeded to assign teams and start the game. No rules or explanation were given. We had to play and figure out the game ourselves as we went. Over the course of our 4 games, I saw several packs of vests/lasers not working including mine for one game. Staff was too busy playing instead of helping those who paid to play and could not. Every game we played was something different with a different set of rules which was fun at times but the games were not thoroughly explained. Points earned seemed to vary which was very frustrating. During one of the games, I witnessed countless running and unsafe/hazardous conditions where the chances for someone to get seriously injured was high and not one person was told to stop. The employees that were playing also participated in these hazardous conditions, potentially endangering players. The players were using constant foul language at my group and in general, which was most concerning as we were in front of several younger players. Worst of all was the customer service, the three employees working (Nevah, Manager Carlina and Kenzie) were some of the worst employees I’ve ever met. Terrible communication to customers and each other. Of the 4 games we played, they did not split teams evenly, which even resulted in one of the games being stopped mid-game with the employees yelling at a team for supposedly cheating by having too many players, however the teams were the same as was originally assigned by the employees. During the final game we played, there were too many players for the game which resulted in the employees yelling at customers and telling them that they would play the next game in a very disrespectful way, while still letting other new players join the game. On top of that, they were making fun of what customers were wearing (a group went in their prom suits and dresses for an anti-prom). During this fourth game, the employee rudely asked for groups to split up to form teams (which no one wanted to do as everyone was with their respective parties) and threatened to force someone onto the other team, resulting in a member of my party volunteering to switch to ease the situation. After spending several minutes trying to split up the groups into teams and our party splitting up, the employees decided it was too much work to assign everyone to their respective teams and gave up, making the game a free for all. Due to the switching of games, lack of communication, and confusion, players were asking questions for clarification, resulting in of the employees shouting “You all should just be grateful you’re playing laser tag”. Overall, this was a terrible experience and I hope this is not a consistent problem for other costumers. I was very unhappy with the experience and could not believe that employees were so disrespectful to paying customers. I wouldn’t recommend this...
Read moreWe had my 10yr olds birthday party here! We RSVPd for 13 just incase, but ended up with 11. They did not charge me for the ones who didn’t make it. Our party hosts were prepared and did a great job. The laser tag games were timed perfectly, except I wish they had played 1 game at the beginning and the 2nd toward the end. I liked having the leader board visible to parents on the outside. We were able to peak in from the side and watch as the kids went by. They had all of the birthday items needed, including plates, forks, candles, lighter and a knife for cake. It was nice not to worry about bringing those things. I felt like it was reasonably priced. Laser tag games were lengthy and didn’t feel rushed. We had the first party of the day, which was great! We were the only...
Read moreQ-Zar was the PERFECT choice for our son's 7th birthday party! The 'Exclusive Party' Package is basically the best deal in Toledo for an outside-of-the-home party. For 2 hours, you get exclusive use of the facility - and it includes as many laser tag games as you can play, 500 tokens for the arcade machines, 5 large pizzas, unlimited fountain drinks, and 30 cupcakes - and it's about HALF of what the "jump" places were charging for their basic packages! On top of all that, we had 2 workers who were there to assist us - they set the tables, served the food, helped the kids with their laser packs, fixed jammed arcade machines, redeemed tickets at the prize counter, and answered every question we had. We didn't have to do a thing! I literally can't say enough good things...
