University of South Florida Tampa Bookstore — Local services in Tampa

USF bookstore is a nice store to buy needs for students as well as for those who want to buy some gifts. Three floor building offers different things, from books to clothes, and from apple products to things for everyday usage. There is a coffee shop inside. Clothes are from different brands and with USF logo. I like the green colour, and also being part of the college, so I have some of the USF t-shirts. It is also good idea to buy some of the gifts for friends and family members. The only thing I could not find was the college associated t-shirts. On the ground floor there are books from A to Z. Books are related to college preparation such as IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, ACT, LSAT, USMLE, MCAT preparation and subject related professional books. Absolutely awful!!!!!! DO NOT GET YOUR BOOKS HERE!!!!!! I got my books the very first week of school, 5 weeks later, still have not received all of my books!!!! Absolutely unacceptable!!! If you rent your books and they have already charged you for them, you cannot cancel them, so you're stuck in them like a contract! Find your book somewhere else to rent, even though they have books here to rent, they may not have them because theyordering them from the publisher. There is no communication whatsoever on the timing of your books, so that means they also won't tell you that your book is not in stock and has to be ordered! I've been to the bookstore countless times and the customer service is absolutely awful! It's students running the place so they don't really have the motive to care for your books, and the adults don't really help...

Be warned, if you live far and you want to do a buy back, calling them doesn't guarantee they know what they're saying cause I called before going and they said they can do a buy back and I drove there from St Pete and they said they are not even though they said they were over the phone. When I was on the phone, they even asked for the number on the bar code to look it up in their system and they said we can take them. The lady told me they didn't know....well how about you make sure your employees know what's going on so they don't tell customers wrong info. They didn't care I drove far. Don't take their word for what they say all the time. This store is the worst I've seen at any college anywhere. Save yourself a trip unless you don't care...
