-0 stars actually . Came up Here about 3 weeks ago to get my boyfriend’s phone fixed and dropped it off with no issue , we came back about a week later to a line wrapped around the corner . Once we finally got next in line , a nice lady let us know that the phone is not ready due to them accepting an abundance of Amazon stick orders . We dropped the phone off a week prior so to put our phone on the back end for your greed of money is unacceptable but we carried on . Two weeks later go by and today my boyfriend calls instead of wasting gas to see if the phone is ready . Carlos proceeds to tell him no even though it’s been 3 weeks now and we’ve been patient . My boyfriend calmly ask if he can just get a discount due to the time span from when we dropped it off to now . This man proceeds to talk crazy and tell my boyfriend that “ If I give you a discount I will never work on this phone again . “ Lmao , sir , what ? 🤡 We dropped the phone off weeks ago so very much confusion on why it hasn’t been fixed yet even after our patience . So to think that we as paying customers were still going to pay you after that slick comment is absurd and you really need to take a class on how to speak to people or conduct business professionally , regardless of your personal feelings . If not , CLOSE YOUR BUSINESS . Unprofessional , untimely and rude . If a customer made you get in your feelings prior to that DO NOT take it out on the next paying customer . Just went and took it to another place for the principle of the matter . The craziest part is that we were referred to this place and were told they were great . Clearly lied but I should’ve known what behavior to expect with it being located in Tampa mall . Hard working people , please take your money where it is appreciated as well as you and not just took to make the next family richer . 🤷🏽♀️
Owner response : Ok , if you ordered the part and it takes a week then why did in conclusion it’s 3 weeks total ? You just said your turnaround time is a week and half ? No Communication or anything . We had to call YOU ! Hence why he asked for a discount for the poor service . If your the only tech in the store than it just proves my case even more that you lack time management skills . We just wanted or phone fixed but instead put us on the backend to accept and accommodate to others . Nobody cares about what you lose sleepover but at the same time respect is due at the door and if you want it , you have to reciprocate the same energy . Point , blank , PERIOD . Regardless of how many services you provided exhibit A of respect is equivalent to each party . Once again , practice your professionalism and time management ....

I called a few other repair shops in town, who each told me it wasn't worth the trouble to try fixing it, before I ended up calling the team at TechAid. I brought it in and their team gladly opened it up and took a look for a diagnostic (for a very reasonable fee). They were able to determine the issue and repair/replace the motherboard at a very fair price. Now my laptop is back up and running just like new!
