If I could give a negative star rating, this would be one of them. I haven't experienced treatment like this in a retail store ever.
I had gone to purchase a new SIM card for a new device. It was for a "Safe Link" device for someone who needed it, and I was directed there by the Safe Link company to this location in order to purchase said Sim Card, which I was told was supposed to be only .99 cents, plus tax.
So when I first went inside, I decided to look around first just to see if there was anything else there that I'd might like to get besides the Sim Card, seeing as I was already there.
I had managed to look at almost all of their iPhone inventory before any of the three employees even looked in my direction, let alone say anything to me. Such as "Welcome" or any other type of greeting.
So after I finally got tired of waiting for any of them to help me after I started trying to find out more information about a Smartwatch that I was looking at. I had went to one of the two people who were just playing on their phones and asked about the watch, which I got a very vague response about my question.
However, when I asked about the Sim Card was where I had gotten a real answer. Which was only an abrupt $29.95 plus tax.
This is where I indicated why I was there and the reason why I needed the Sim Card, but it seemed that the only answer that they could respond with was $29.95 plus tax.
It was at this point I realized that even if they had what I wanted, I still wouldn't do business with them.
The most interesting part about this was that I ended up going across the street to the pharmacy and asked the kind lady there, and she found what I needed, and at the price that I was told.
Not only will I never go back to that location, but I will never also do business with...
Read moreJason, our sales consultant, was late, rude, and extremely unapologetic. Our follow up appointment was at 12:00 pm on a Sunday, which he himself decided on. Upon our arrival (family of 4), Jason was not present and turned out to be still sleeping at his home (We found this out after his coworker Mike called him; Jason picked up after a third call). After this, we decided to settle on a later appointment time at 1:20 so that Jason could properly make his way to the Verizon. While my family members all made it back to the store right on time, Jason still was not there and continued to be absent for an additional 30 minutes past our already delayed appointment time. By the time he finally arrived past 1:50, I was at least expecting an apology to his twice-late arrival. However, Jason blamed traffic on I-75 for the delay and was very rude when answering my questions. Of course, I understand that no one can control the traffic, but not a single word of apology was uttered throughout the rest of our appointment. Jason thought extremely little of me and my family’s time since he seemed to have absolutely no problem wasting it. I wish I didn’t come to this location. Too...
Read moreA mixture of incompetence and scummy used car salesman tactics will keep me from ever coming to this store again. I went in to port my number from att to Verizon. It took them about 5 hours over the course of 2 days to do what should be a simple thing. After finally getting my number moved over, Zack tried to force me to buy accessories at point of sale. He claimed that because of a chip shortage with cell phones it was mandatory to buy 3 accessories and he could not complete the sale if I did not purchase them. This is outright fraud. After pushing back on this I left the store only paying the sales tax on the phone and no accessories. Do not sign the estimate they put in front of you. They also charge a 75 dollar re-stocking fee if you have to return your phone. It’s a shame that is how the sale ended because until that point, despite their mistakes in trying to move my number over, Dan and zack were very nice and personable. Do not give this store your business, go to a more reputable store that won’t try to scam you into buying their overpriced...
