The buying experience itself wasn’t pushy, and our sales person Angelo was great. The logistics are the problem with this company.
We purchased: x1 mattress, x1 bed frame, x2 nightstand, x1 dresser, x1 dining table, x4 dining chairs, and a sectional couch.
Initially we were informed that delivery of everything would have occurred during the first week of May, the 1st or the 2nd of the month. We were then called and informed that the dresser and mirror attachment were not going to be delivered until the following week.
The next phone call we received was to inform us of our delivery, great! However, we were told the delivery would not include our couch, and would not include our dining room chairs. Delivery was scheduled. The day of our delivery is where issues continued to happen. Our bed frame is currently set up in our room and is MISSING the entire left-hand side. It is unusable and the bed cannot be placed on it. We had to ARGUE with them to bring us something to place our bed on so it wasn’t on the floor. It is currently sitting on a metal riser between the would-be frame. We were then informed the missing piece would be delivered to their warehouse on May 4th and would be sent to us immediately. On top of this, the nightstands were supposed to come with wireless charging (which to be fair? We didn’t even know about) but the wireless charging wasn’t even installed and we also have to wait for that to be delivered.
It is May 5th. I called in the morning requesting an update and was told the missing portion of the bed frame now will not be here until May 12th. This is unacceptable. The initial information went from everything being delivered, then to everything except the dresser, then to everything except the chairs and couch. Now in our house we have a partially built bed frame in the bedroom, a dining table with no chairs, and an empty living room with no couch. The team that manages the products and deliveries clearly have no idea when my purchased items will even arrive, which items, or if they’ll even be delivered in half built pieces. The manager was supposed to call me as soon as they arrived into the building but I had to call MANY hours later with no update, and the manager is no longer in the building.
I just cannot justify giving this place my recommendation. It has been a nightmare dealing with everything. $5,500 of furniture purchased and I will not return to purchase anything else from here. The process started great with Angelo, and went downhill from there. Very unfortunate because again we liked Angelo a lot.
I should have known this was going to be a messy process when 4 days after we purchased everything a delivery driver showed up to our house attempting to deliver somebody else’s furniture to us! Apparently my order number and the order number of somebody else was the same somehow in their system and I almost received multiple pieces of somebody else’s furniture. Good thing I stopped that from happening.
I’m done calling them and any further concerns I will be bringing it up...
Read moreI was on the hunt for a new sectional and Tampa Furniture Outlet kept popping up when I was price comparing. I read most of their reviews - good and bad - and figured I'd reach out to see what pricing looked like for the sectional I wanted. Nemo was quick to answer, offer a decent deal, and even sent me a link to make my purchase online. Now it should be noted that this business uses a 3rd party delivery service, and here's where things go downhill.... 1st delivery attempt on 1/16/24 supposed to arrive between 4-7pm; didn't arrive til 8:30pm. unloaded wrong colored sectional...style was right, color was wrong. When discussing this w/ the store the next business day (1/17/24), their solution was to put us on the sch again for Fri. Okay. My husband asked if we could pick up the boxes ourselves, we got a 'yes' and so we did. We get the boxes home, and have extra pieces in place of pieces we actually need. Called the store, and again their solution is to coordinate w/ the delivery company to see if/when we can get on the delivery sch. What irked us the most during this call, is the rep continued to say to us "we can do a Free delivery".....in a manner insinuating that otherwise, we the customer would have to pay a delivery fee again, after they refunded our original fee since we picked up. As a business, even if you use a 3rd party, its your reputation on the line, so when you or the other team makes an error, you eat whatever cost within reason such as a delivery fee, to get the job done right and as quick as possible. So here we are waiting for Fri, in hoping they deliver the correct pieces in the right color. 01/19/24 UPDATE - Delivery guys showed up around 11:30a so inside the provided window, with ALL the missing pieces. They were quick to get all the parts placed, and they offered to dispose of the cardboard that we had since Wednesday. So that was appreciated. I will say best to be in communication with Vivian is the better route to go to ensure things get resolved. So I appreciate that as well. Unfortunately, I'm standing by the 3 stars given due to things just going wrong. Now while we probably won't purchase again, I encourage for any business read the reviews - the good, and the bad to be as informed as possible. My recommendation to this store is - Self deliver, rent your own trucks and do it yourself...its so unsettling to bet 50% of your reputation on a 3rd party...

Review Update.
This is a Review update. My experience before I received my item was awsome. But the after purchase support or service socks. I Leave in NC. I payed for my items in full and Yuma the owner and Manager promised me my items will get to me in good condition and on time but that was never the case. First, my items arrived about 5weeks late Second, the leg of my coffee table was broken. (I didn't bother much about this because it was an easy fix) Third, one of my side table was a wrong one which did not match my chairs and was not in my selection
With all these errors, I reached out to Yuma who promised to replace it but never did until today Jan 2025. I called and texted severally but never heard back from him or Susy the Rep.
I waited patiently and after a couple of months I reached out to Susy again only for her to tell me she no longer works with Yuma and that I should contact him instead. I was never given a new side table or a discount refund . What a loss!
This was so annoying and frustrating. The worst of it is the fact that their communication system after service is so broken, but the before service communication was so great meaning they were only interested in getting my money
To set my leaving room up I had to purchase new side tables that matched with the couches.
I'm just being transparent here. If you are dealing with Tampa furniture you better be careful and make sure you have a clear agreement on how your your items should get to you.
