We upgraded out Dish hopper and joey system along with our home internet from Dishnet to Exede internet. It was installed good at first. The TV system works good with no problems. After the second month of using our Exede Internet we noticed it has used up our 10gb of data in 4 days without any explanation or heavy usage along with being out of town two of those days and having everything except the modem on. We at first had a terrible experience with Exede customer service but we finally got the installer to come back free of charge to assess the problem. Turns out the installer made a huge mistake and did not look at the cabling to see if it was effecient enough to handle the new system which caused the system to connect and reconnect continuously causing our data to be used much faster than normal. Keep in mind we have had hughesnet for over 10 years in the past with no problems. What we are dissapointed the most is that the installers did not plan to get the problem fixed in a timely manner and had to take several days and visits to the office to get them to come out and fix the problem by replacing the cables and reconnecting the modem. There was also no consideration on their part to try and help us get our data back since it was their mistake on their part to why the data was used up due to not checking the cables or at least bringing up the issue beforehand. We had to call Exede ourselves to get some of our data back when the 5 star should have been more on top of the issue and trying to be more upbeat on working with us as...
