DO NOT RENT FROM BUDDY'S HOME FURNISHINGS!!!! I thought I had rented a air conditioner with a dehumidifier on it, of course that was NOT what I got! The one I got was much smaller and no dehumidifier! I was told that instead of the higher price that this one would only be 80.00. RIGHT! They took out my smaller working air conditioner so they could replace the new one. In the process they ripped out the electrical cord and dropped it on the ground. They said they would replace it but never did. I wad charged 60.00 to get it fixed. Five months later I requested that they pick up their air conditioner that I no longer wish to use it. The 3rd of the month I had paid for a full month since they removed it on the 14th I expected the other half of my payment back. What a surprise! That's their money I don't get my money back! Upon removing the air conditioner they tore the siding off of my house which they left tore up, got into their van and left! I called the store to complain and the manager said That they weren't responsible! Wrong air conditioner, broke my air conditioner, charged me 125.00 a month for the wrong one after saying I would only be charged 80.00 a month, tore the siding up on my house and refused to pay for it and refused to give me back a half of a month's rent I paid for but was unused!!!! Buddy's in Texarkana, TX should be shut down!!! What a despicable way to run a company! If this is how BUDDY'S WHOLE COMPANY is ran THEY SHOULD...

My payment of $115 is 5 days (due on Sat) late and I received a call from "Mr. Parker" today; their legal representative. Mind you I spoke with someone at the office on Tuesday and told them when I could pay it. Smh!

Update 9/18/2020- I get home tonight and I'm informed that 4 men and 2 Buddy's Furntuire vehicles came, knocked (like the police) on my door for 15 minutes. Then stayed, talked trash (loudly) about me and smoked cigarettes, at the bottom of my steps for an additional 30 minutes; until they were asked to leave. I mean, I know I owe 1 payment of $125 (mistakenly wrote $115 on previous post). But, is this behavior really necessary? I've tried my best to explain why I'm late and when I can pay. So I don't understand, this is quite embarrassing. No one can know when they will fall on hard...

We have been with this store over five years. I love the way they handle their business and take care of their customers anyway possible. Since the new manager came in things has been getting down without any hesitation. So, I would like to thank Nekeaii, Mike, Von and Tay. It’s never an attitude, dull moment or anything with these guys, most important very respectful towards one another and customers. And, I can’t write this kind of review for any other place. Every time we payoff something they always talk us in getting something else even when we don’t need anything, but got to love them making them...
