The Canvas Special Events Center — Attraction in Texarkana

I had my wedding at the venue ten years ago and I had nowhere near the experience I had for my daughters 18th birthday party. The new owners did a complete 360 with this place. Everything was perfect for my daughters party. Mrs. Iyna was the sweetest person ever! She touched bases with me every step of the way and even offered me some flexibility given the date. Then the day of the party, Mr. Ben met is there and made sure we had everything we needed. We were also visited by the other owners of the building who made sure we were taken care of. They were very responsive to all of my questions and even followed up wth me after the party. We will definitely be using this facility again in the future! Had a wedding on 05/24/25. A few things that concerned me were that the bridal suite and grooms suite was humid, and the circulation of air was lacking, bridal suite had not been cleaned, the table was sticky from something that had been spilled, one suggestion would be for the ability to be able to hang the dress up higher because my dress when hung up was on the floor due to bring so low . The prep kitchen didn't have utensils to serve food with, oven mitts to retrieve food out of warmer, sponge to wash dishes, a suggestion would be to have a big industrial broom and mop when having to clean such a huge area. We had a Blast.....everyone enjoyed the building along with the space we had and the friendly staff. Thanks for everything, and thanks for letting us pop our box of fireworks it was just awesome, I hope you all let me do my retirement party as well. The only thing people had questions about was the ending time...... if y'all could add an hour are 2 to your lovely place y'all will have it going on.....I had people that came from Florida, Dallas, Houston and also North Carolina, I had lossed my son so everyone was long overdue for an outing, my first time really smiling in awhile we was just trying to left each other up and it worked, we we're very pleased with everything.
