š±This place is an absolute nightmare. I hope this doesn't come across as angry, but I will say my husband and I are very, very disappointed. Let me start by saying we were deceived from the beginning, we were told by Angela the clinical liaison that after 14 days in quarantine my husband would be allowed visitors on the(outside). Upon arriving with my husband's personal belongings the receptionist informed me that there's NO visitation, strike 1. I decided at that moment this wasn't the place for my us. I informed them to leave him in the transportation van and he'll go the other skilled nursing home where he was also accepted. Several people came and spoke with me.... Russell (director), Sharita (head) of nursing and Angela our initial contact person, all assured me this would be a good fit for my husband (not) Meals arriving cold, long response time to be cleaned, even left overnight in soiled diaper, strike 2. Several day after admission before given a full shower. Each time he called me with complaints about his care I reached out, was given cell phone numbers to contact Russell and Sharita after hours. When I informed them that I was moving him to the other facility, once again we were promised things would improve. The final straw was a diaper change (two) person task as the beds have railings only at the very top, only one person was present so when he was flipped he fell to the floor strike 3. Received a call from the nurse that he had fallen out of the bed. Very next morning I'm up early texting any and every one to please forward clinicals to the other facility as soon as possible. I didn't want him to spend another night at The Phoenix. Oh, did I mention that as I'm writing this review I'm sitting in the reception area making sure he's transported TODAY. 3 strikes we're...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWords are not enough to mention how great The Phoenix is, from the bottom to the top staffs this facility goes above and beyond to make sure everything is okay with their service. My mother in law has dementia and for over 4 years 24/7 I was the only hope she had at time. My husband always traveling to work. It put a tremendous toll on me, she was way too much spoiled and finally I convinced my husband that we need to get a new home for her, some place that would treat mom with dignity and love because I was drained and couldnāt provide it to her anymore. At beginning my husband didnāt wanna accept, so I had to search for The Best place that would take Medicare insurance AND treating the residents with dignity and love. The Phoenix was the Winner and Excelled all what we were looking for mom. Today, she seems to be the Queen of attention through their staffs always available and willing to help her with her personal needs even when sheās on her bad mood. My mother in law now is happy, smiling, playing and having a great quality of life. The iPad deal was one of the best Phoenix offers to the residents to be able to communicate with the family while during this pandemic situation. Russell is always on top š to make sure residents are been treated and provided the best. All nurses are F.A.N.T.A.S.T.I.C and very knowledgeable. I couldnāt mention everyone names because I donāt remember but they are always great. My main contact is with Laura, Jackie and Linda and my mother in law love them as if they were her family. My husband now travel to work and doesnāt even bother thinking about his mom because he knows Phoenix staff are taking good care of his mom and weāre...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am conflicted about how to rate this facility as I experienced excellent service in some instances and really lack-luster service in others. My mother recently suffered a stroke and required a post rehab facility after being discharged from the hospital. Like anyone who had never gone through such a traumatic event my siblings and I had no idea where to start. I found this facility online and though the reviews were mixed we decided that we would have my mother rehab here as each persons experience is different. Needless to say, many of the reviews were correct. My mother was unhappy, the facility policy was questionable so we immediately had my mom moved. I will not discredit the facility as a whole as not everything was bad, specifically the help of some employees. Crystal (CeeCee), Angie, and Sherida were AMAZING!!!! They were kind and helpful to my mom, responsive to my calls and helped me to my mom mentally calm while she was there. Even after learning of our intent to move my mom Angie was so helpful with the transition, Sherida remained responsive to my calls and texts and Crystal (CeeCee) showed kindness to my mom and provided incredible care with her needs.
I want to thank each one who was kind, treated my mom as a person and with care especially Sherida, Angie and...
