After months of saying I am going to go to the Pallet Bar, I finally made it. It was Thursday and early evening so I had the place to myself. Enjoyed a Purple Sunset which was both beautiful and tasty. Followed that up with some chips and queso and a Mom’s Go To. The chips were probably Tostitos rounds, which I am not complaining about since they are just about my favorite chip. The queso and salsa were hand made and amazing. Possibly the best salsa I have had in Texas City. The Mom’s Go To is a drink to be aware of. Very tasty and strong. That 151 puts it over the edge. I look forward to returning and trying more of the food items (they even have Gluten Free pizza) and check out the live music scene.

Fantastic spot for food, drinks, and music! The food here is excellent—there’s a wide variety on the menu, so there’s truly something for everyone. The drink selection is just as impressive, with specialty cocktails, frozen drinks, and all the classics. They’re strong, delicious, and reasonably priced. Jamie is always incredibly attentive, and the rest of the staff is consistently friendly and professional. I especially love coming by when DJ Mulatto is spinning—he brings great energy and keeps the vibe going strong. Always a great time here!

This place was a welcome surprise. Seriously good food and original recipes. Was playing dope 80's and 90's ballads the whole time, they have karaoke and communal bar seats to have easy conversations. The staff was good and courteous. Will definitely be going back! Catch us at karaoke on Sundays!

Tried this bar out because power was out at my home and wanted a drink. Went in and sat down and waited for service. I knew weather was bad and that they was probably short handed; so I was patient. After sitting for 25min checking emails; finally an employee said someone would be taking my order shortly. After another 10min still no service a couple walks in and sits down. Shortly after sitting server walks past me to give them a menu. So I left; I’m a hard guy to over look big black guy with big beard. It was probably only 10 to 12 people in there so it wasn’t packed. I understand establishments won’t have perfect customer service all the time but, I think a nearly 40min wait to get a drink and app is unacceptable in a empty bar. I’m fairly new to area so I may give them another chance; if so I will update my review. My money will spend anywhere and there’s plenty of...
