It just seems that every time I go in there, and mind you when I am in there there are little to no customers, the service gets worse and worse, the older gentleman behind the main counter usually sits at the computer oblivious to the fact someone is there unless you walk directly past the counter he sits at. He is not very enthusiastic about helping too much especially with archery products. And never has anything truly helpful to say. However I have been in there prior to this and have never had to wait or go find someone to help me more than 3-5 minutes. There is a few individuals however prior to this last visit, that were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, one, a Polaris sales man, Fred, is always helpful and a younger gentleman that is likewise very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions I have and as well as the younger ladies I've had great experiences with. Im still a patron, however because over all, it has always been great experiences. For rifles and ammunition and optics I continue...
Read moreWow… I've been wanting to go see this shop for awhile now. If you are an archery lover and you live in Arizona, Gila Outdoors is a "must visit." I was blown away at the size of this archery shop. It is literally multiple times larger than any shop I've been to here in the valley! They have boatloads of inventory and great prices. I took a chance and made the three hour drive from Mesa, and I'll do it every time from now on. Jed set up my bow and he really knows what he's doing. Man I wish this shop was closer… it is awesome. There were three guys there buying new bows while I was there Thursday evening… this place is hoppin!
I'm tellin' you man… get in your truck and take the drive… you won't be disappointed. They carry Hoyt, Bowtech, Elite, PSE, Mathews, Obsession… pretty much everything. This place gets my vote for best independently owned archery shop in...
Read moreI find it funny when people talk about (shopping local). They say it helps the local economy which I can agree with, but at what price? The sales rep was very eager to sell and said to bring it in after Christmas and he would help us set it all up. So we did but when we went back he wasn’t very eager to help us out after he already sold us the product. I understand your busy but a little bit of courtesy goes a long way. He made us feel like we were a burden when asking him for help. I hope he sees this and thinks about how he should treat customers in the future. Needless to say we won’t be shopping...
