They have a popular rating based off locals however when you can cook, make and delight in mexican food cuisine this place will totally disappoint you. It disappointed me. Not worth $34 bucks for 2 waters a chimi and green burro enchilada style. Plus shall need to mention the green chili burro enchilada style but served a bean burro, waitress had to have kitchen remake it by then I missed having a hot meal with my hubby because his food sat on the table while he wanted us to eat together waiting on them to correct the order which took over 15 mins. My hubby and I go out to eat together to eat our meal together. That is the whole reason we go out to eat together which is hardly ever to enjoy it together. The taste of the green chili burrito was plain, meat was dry plainly seasoned in a watered down green chili broth, more tortilla than filling. It wasn't what i would consider a ok or even good burro. It was disappointing to say the lease. The Chips and salsa were blah, chips were cold and if you want what we found out after the fact, if you want chunky salsa they charged us $6.50 for a small bowl. I did questioned the waitress but she had the idgas attitude so what can you do but write a review :). The table sauce they compliment you with if you dine in is blah. My hubby and I are newly to the area but not Arizona it our hometown but we guarantee we wont be back here. There are plenty of other mexican food restaurants in the area left to explore... Happy Travels. 😊

The wait was a little long to be seated. As well as the wait for the food. But the place was busy. As well it should be. La Casita is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Graham county. My opinion that is. My wife's food originally was served lukewarm. They took it with no complaints and heated it. And since her meal had come out before mine originally. By the time hers was heated both our meals were served at the same time. The server never asked if we needed a refill. But once after we received our food was asked if it was fine. And it was. The beans were a little runny. Not sure if they had been thinned out to go further through the rush. But other other than that the meal was great! I recommend the place. And as always my family will be returning.

Salsa tasted weird it was edible just different the red sauce had the same taste. I am from New Mexico and the red and green sauce is so different. Beer was flat which was a disappointment. Staff was not very attentive we came around lunch time and it was busy but staff was standing around talking to each other. I ordered the combo plate with relleno, taco and tamale, the green Chile came from a can and the tamale was dry. I would not recommend this place at all for good Mexican food!

I pulled in to La Casita about a quarter to 5:00 this afternoon thinking I would have one enchilada rice and beans and maybe get out of there for 10 to 12 bucks, WOW, was I wrong. They typically bring you a small bowl for salsa with a basket of chips. The salsa is not to my liking, it's like thinner than tomato juice with some heat in it and the chips were really not great either. I had noticed some of the people that went there got different salsa that had more chopped veggies in it and so I inquired with the waitress who told me that it was available and a little bit hotter than the liquid one but said she could bring me lemon because the lemon juice takes the heat out, I agreed to try it and she returned with the chips and chopped vegetable salsa. She was correct in that this salsa was definitely hotter and way closer to the salsa that I was raised with, the lemon juice helped tame it down perfectly. Within a few minutes another waitress appeared took my order and headed to the kitchen with it. 10 or 15 minutes later she appeared with a large hot platter with rice beans and a chicken enchilada that was supposed to have green sauce on it but did not. (Which in my book is a deal-breaker right there because you should get what you order or should know that they don't have it or can't do it the way you would like.) I poured some salsa on the rice and beans and ate it with the chips as a dip. In all honesty the food was pretty good. I was okay until I went to the register to pay and The woman there told me it was $22 I added the $2 tip and got out of there for just under 25 bucks for one enchilada and rice and beans. For me that was about twice what it should have cost and I mildly complained to no avail. I was told that the three enchilada meal was cheaper (WHAT??), then left and will not go back. ( I wonder if the prices at this place are the same for everyone?)

With these reviews I always try to be as honest...

This place is usually good too us but as of lately we have been getting treated like we don't belong there. The waitress seemed to be ignoring us until my partner got upset and made a remark. We didn't get asked if we wanted any refills. We weren't regularly checked like everyone else was around us. I ordered the fajita combo. I got the rice and beans and the toppings for it but I got my fajitas 8 minutes later and it was not sizzling like it usually is. The waitress that was supposed to be serving us didn't even bring it. Someone else had too and by then it was not as Hot as I like it. This place is usually good but if this keeps up I would not recommend. Came here on the 9th. My food was good and on time but my partners food was brought too her and her food was cold. We waited for a waitress to come by but they stop acknowledging us and we're currently being ignored right now. Will be the last time...
