French Quarter Antiques is one of my personal favorites in the Oklahoma City metroplex!
Cynthia's particularly polite and helpful, and good merchandise abounds here.
The shop's always clean, well appointed, well lighted, and easily accessible.
(It's also insanely easy to find -- just east of May & Britton. Put another way, just west of Penn & Britton. A trained rhesus monkey could find this charming antiques business -- while drunk, no less.) :)
Primitives, French Rococo, Victoriana, Art Deco, clocks, bronzes, fine & costume jewelry alike, Orientalia, porcelain, sports memorabilia, majolica, vintage advertising, Persian rugs . . . you name it and you'll likely find it at French Quarter Antiques.

Read moreThe owners were very rude and insulting. I was offered a dollar amount from owner Dr.? which I accepted even though it was not what I wanted. The other owner Hugh Bennett butted in and under minded the Dr. by offering an even lower offer which I refused. Then they both started coming up with every excuse under the sun why my antique table and chairs was not worth much and they would buy it just to get it off my hands. I have bought several items from this store but I will never buy anything...
Read moreMostly true antiques. Mostly higher priced items. Not mixed with so many modern knick knacks like most antique stores these days. Still, unless u have lots of money to spend this probably isn't the best store for u. I will say that they do have good customer service. It's not a very big store so it doesn't take more than an hr or so to look at. It is next door to a bigger cheaper antique mall that's only open on weekends so it's easy to look at both on...
