Their sausage always taste the Since I've been a kid in the 80's when my grandfather used to pick me up on the weekends & would cook it up for lunch & I'm sure it always taste the Since early 1900's ! My grandfather's brother used to work there "Kunka " as a butcher in the early times to as well .. I met 1 of the mich's /man when I went up there & told him 1 of Great uncle's work for him and he knew my hole family ! They have the best fresh polish sausage. The best. Small little family owned grocery and butcher shop. They have great prices. They have been in this location for ever. The selection of sausage and other meats is crazy. Go there the sausage you will not be able to find better. I used to live in Dolton, Riverdale for 25 years moved further southand I still go there. Work in bridgeview and there are several small polish stores in Bedord park and nearby and their sausage cannot even come close to this. Always get it for holidays. Best way to cook it. Boil it until all fat comes out. Then bake 350 degrees until slightly brown on...
