Ate here on a Sunday with my family and we requested a big table. Got a table but stood there for 10minutes waiting on the table to be cleared. Finally got it cleared and cleaned.. ordered and got drinks appetizer came out pretty quickly. It took a while for our food to come out and the family that came before us left because there order took long coming out. I ordered my short ribs medium rare and got it well done. We all tried the different dishes we ordered and the food was good. The service was ok.. I think the eating experience here would be different on a week day. 10/09/19 6:30pm Second visit this time on a week day.. less crowded and got a clean table for a party of 8 as soon as we walked in. Got our drinks ordered our food and it came out in a timely manner. Kinda lost our waitress attentiveness while we were dining. Didn't check to see if we needed refills or just wanting anything else.. other then that my dining experience was better then the first. I ordered the red snapper that was fried just a tad bit over, I should have ordered it fried lightly.. it was good nonetheless and the flavor was good as well. Home made tortillas, salsa was good, everyone enjoyed their meal. I did give La Cecina another star on my review. Management just needs to touch up on their staffs customer service. I'm not saying the staff wasn't good.. just the lack of attention to the customer. Stop on in and try some authentic Mexican dishes

I went to lunch with co-workers. They kept bragging about the homemade tortillas at La Cecina. We snacked on chips and salsa while we waited for the entrees. The salsa has a kick. I ordered the Fajitas de Pollo. The chicken was perfectly prepared, but the onions, peppers, tomatoes, and avocado enhanced the flavor of the fajita. The tortillas are the star of the show. I also tried the grilled thin steak and enchiladas. I did not finish my meal which included a side of rice. Even though our group was large, the timing of the meal met my expectations. If you want authentic Mexican food, dine at La Cecina#2. By the way, the leftovers held up well.

Got breaded steak dinner. Steak was very tender and was thicker than many other restaurants. French fries were thin and crispy very good. They gave me fresh hand made tortillas. Beans and rice were ok and the salsa needed salt. Family restaurant over all it was good and economical. Will go back to try other food for sure.... Went back recently best Mexican dish I've ever had. 5 stars for the food. Thick cut of skirt steak, very tender, perfectly seasoned, and clean cut. Very delicious.

I recently had the pleasure having lunch at La Cecina restaurant that truly exceeded my expectations. The food, menu, service, and price were all exceptionally good, making it an unforgettable experience.

Speaking of the menu, it was extensive and diverse. There was something for everyone, whether you preferred traditional Mexican dishes or were looking for a modern twist.

The service at La Cecina restaurant was top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. One of the highlights of this restaurant was the affordability. Despite the exceptional quality of the food and service, the prices were surprisingly reasonable. It was refreshing to find a Mexican restaurant that offered great value for money without compromising on taste or portion sizes. Dining here was a treat for both my taste buds and my wallet.

In conclusion, this Mexican restaurant is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it can get. The food is exceptional, the menu is diverse, the service is outstanding, and the prices are affordable. Whether you're a fan of Mexican cuisine or looking to try something new, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a visit. You won't be...

I like this place. It’s very cozy, and the atmosphere on the weekends has a man playing guitar and nice oldies that remind me of my mom when she used to play her music when i was a child. The service was on point. Waitresses are very polite, and they all come around checking on us, making sure everything was ok. Im saying not just one waitress in assigned to one table all four come to check on you every 10 min. I had a tampiqueña and wanted my skirt steak medium well, and the cooks made my steak well done, unfortunately 😑 but other than that, the flavor from the steak was exactly what I was looking for, seasoned to perfection 👌 bold flavors, rice made nice a fluffy, beans guacamole all in my homade corn tortillas made fresh, mmmmm i just ate and already wantbto go back, lol. The enchilada on top of my steak and the enchilada poblano sauce was really good with light melted cheese just the way I like. Most definitely going...
