C Q Nails — Local services in Thornton

I went here yesterday to get a acrylic overlay and a simple design. The owner ended up doing my nails. First off I didn't like how he was very antsy and it seemed like he was rushing me to pick a color. There wasn't many ppl in there so I didn't get why he was acting like that. Then he kept stopping to check on others. What really annoyed me was he couldn't get the design right. I had a feeling he didn't know what he was doing and when I asked him to correct it; he seemed annoyed and started to talk in his language. When he redid the design it still looked basic like my niece did it and not really like the picture. So I said F it. I was already tired after a long shift and was ready to go.I would of liked if he asked someone more experience to do the design. I have been here 3 times prior and the ladies have always done a great job. I was recommended this place and usually come when I have energy to do the drive. This place is lit bit of a drive so to receive mediocre service and have someone who can't do simple design is a let down. The design could of looked way neater. He kept asking if I liked it because he could probably tell I was annoyed. I probably won't be back. If I do, I will make sure he doesn't...

I have never in my life had such a bad experience at a nail salon. I had the only man in there do my nails, I had a picture and they were long coffin shaped nails with a design on 3 fingers, he asked me about 20 questions and I kept telling him, I want them exactly like they are in the picture, (black and silver?) yes, I want them exactly like the picture. (Long) yes, I want them exactly like the picture. He was watching the football game, and cut me 9 TIMES to the extent of me bleeding. Like uncontrollably, to where they had to be disenfected and superglued shut so they would stop bleeding. They were as long as my normal nails, oval and had no design on them. I was so irritated and IN PAIN. Not to mention when I first showed him the photo he said $40 and I didn’t even get the designs and was charged $58? This place was unprofessional, rude, they didn’t pay attention, and they cut me and I didn’t even get close to...

Had my 1st visit last Saturday, 11 am, but there was no point in making my appointment ahead of time since they asked each waiting client what services they wanted and distributed clients depending on the skills of the available worker. So, for example, about two walk-in's were served before me because the available workers at that moment couldn't do a pedicure for me.

I also got old gel nail polish removed from my nails, but there is still residue on my nails. See photo.

Finally, there was an odd paint bubble or something that surfaced on one nail of my pedicure. The worker buffed it out as best as he could, but it's still not perfect like the rest of my nails. I should've had him totally redo that nail while I was there.

For a business that serves a mainly female clientele, why was soccer showing on all the TVs? There was no ambience music, either, just silence...
