Well unfortunately we had a bad experience for the second time at this place. Both occasions have been when ordering out. First time breakfast burritos were missing everything from salt to the sausage we asked for the burrito was just awful. Yet we kept going back to Taqueria El Compita because most other food was good. Well fast forward to today and we ordered a birria quesadilla- the quesadilla was placed in the to go container with the nice side up no burns no nothing looked great. Took our first bite ( it was a shared meal) and it was different not as good as the week prior when we ate in the restaurant. Despite the mediocre interior we stayed and ate there; again it's good food. So we are trying to figure out what the difference is and we turn the quesadilla over and it's completely burned on the other side. So the way they try to get by this is to flip the bad side on the container and the good side is all you see. Not good business when you have such good food. On top of that we called to complain and right away there is hesitation about doing anything to make it right. We were told they will call the manager to see if they can do anything about it. We get a call back and we are told they can't do anything about it because we ate the whole thing haha so you assumed because I told you I ate a piece that we ate the whole thing WOW ... OK so now I resort to THIS and post a review so anyone and everyone can see it. I'm sorry but if you do business like that in attempt to deceive your customers into thinking the meal they are about to eat is perfectly made then I guess you deserve to be called out. Enjoy my $16 now I will move on to google and Facebook next and all other platforms. Enjoy my picture and do...

Food 3.5-4 stars! I read a review on here about asada fries and was excited to try them. When we got the order, the fries were not all the way done but the meat and presentation was on point, I couldn’t get passed the fries not being done tho because I looove fries and was ready to go ham. I informed them about the fries and they quickly made me whatever I wanted in its place, which happened to be flautas. The flautas were on point, super stuffed and presentation was beautiful. Beans were yum. My husband ordered a torta with rice. Both of us agreed the rice was lacking flavor but I liked the texture of it. He said the torta was good.
They made me some churros to try on the house and they were filled, warm and pleasant.
We would come back again, there are plenty of things to try...
Read moreSo far, so good. Classic hole in the wall. Authentic Mexican food. SO Good. Initially I thought it was too expensive but when the food came out, I understood why. Portions match the price. When you dine in, you get free chips and handmade salsa.
My favorite thing is that they don’t skimp out on the limes like lots of other places.
Birria Ramen: very good. Comes with 3 quesadillas on the side. Cilantro, onions, and limes.
Sopies: very good. The Spanish rice is so good. Also comes with record beans. Delicious.
Birria tortas: very good. Huge portions. Comes with rice and beans on the side. Again, both delicious.
Street Tacos (asada, pastor, barbacoa, buche): all delicious. Again they did not skimp out on the lines. Only thing is I wish there was more cilantro & onions but that’s a personal preference.
Horchata: comes in a HUGE mug thingy. Good. Classic.
Can’t wait...
