Wow, that had to be one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in the last five years, and we eat out several times a week.
Arrived at 6:15 PM on a Sunday. Was seated fairly quickly in about a half empty restaurant. 630 rolls around and nobody had even addressed us yet. A waiter happen to be walking by and my wife waved at him to get his attention. He came over and said are you ready to order? We said yes and would like some waters too please. We ordered. 30 to 35 minutes later our food started showing up. We ordered one of the special strawberry rolls from the front sign board and I ordered Szechuan fish along with vegetable fried rice and some sushi. My wife ordered Mongolian beef and two kids meals for the kids. At about 720 the Waterboy came over and offered me some more ice tea. When he brought me tea I asked him to see the manager. About 730 The water guy came back and asked if we wanted more waters. Our waiter had been nonexistent this entire time. At this point we have still not seen the Szechuan fish and the strawberry roll. I said OK I’m counting to 100 and if nobody shows up we are walking out of this hell hole. I asked two different people to see the manager and waited 15 minutes for anybody to show up. Our waiter walked by us twice and my wife waved at him towards the end of our meal and he would not acknowledge us. Now I’m ready to kill somebody. I said OK that’s it pack up we’re leaving this place and I’m not paying. I walk up to the front and I told her hostess if I don’t see a manager pretty quick I’m walking out. She found the manager and he came over smiling at me like nothing was wrong. I told him about our experience. He brought me my check and of course didn’t take off anything except what we never received ( the strawberry roll and the Szechuan fish.) This was the worst dining experience that I can remember in recent history. Not only was the service probably the worst I’ve ever had in my life, but the food was tasteless. What was supposed to be hot was lukewarm and what was supposed to be cold was room temperature. Gross. The lukewarm, bland, spicy tuna roll fell apart, the octopus was robbery and Luke warm and the seaweed paper that the sushi was wrapped in was gooey and mushy. Disgusting. Disgusting...
Read moreMids mids mids !! First off I haven’t eaten here in 3 years because of very poor food quality, but I figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt. Nothing has changed . Long time to wait on food. Tall skinny waitress who didn’t even take the order was very pushy towards me , while placing the wrong dish in front of me insisting that is what I ordered. She said I ordered beef pad tai, pushing it in front of me. when I ordered beef with lime, then joked that I forgot what I ordered because I was obviously high (which I was , very high) but not high enough to forget my order. Then the lady proceeded to give the pad Thai that was in front of me to my buddy and tell him it was his entree of beef chow fun, lmao. He declined saying he ordered chow fun. Then the beef pad Thai made its way over to the 12 top in the middle of the dinning room at its final destination, Mids . All in all very midsy experience, the duck was dry, raw scallions in the rice pancake which was a flour tortilla that tasted like they were a month old. The chow fun was sauceless , sushi was soggy not fresh. the best part of the meal was the cheap watered down country time lemonade they use , I like it when I have cotton mouth, 👍🏼👍🏼two thumbs up on keeping that filled up!
Can’t justify going to this place, the service and food is poor, it is run down and looks like the owners should invest some time and money into its wait staff/ management and kitchen crew giving this place a face lift, or breath of fresh air. And I am not sure if they know Chinese cuisine or just the bastardized version of it that Juan and Jose are cooking in the back. I would never eat at this midsy place again, sorry United Chinese n sushi but just like your sign says out side, you are “ d Chinese n sushi” place, fix your sign it...
Read moreDo NOT recommend this place! This place use to be so much better but I had not been there for 2 years or more. We went for lunch and it was the worst Chinese food we have ever had in Colorado in 30 years and we eat it often. We ordered our favorites, the orange chicken and sesame chicken. First, the hot and sour soup was disgusting and by far the worst hot and sour soup I have ever had. No taste and gritty!! I have never had grit in my teeth before from this type of soup. The egg drop soup was no better and we pushed them aside. We hoped the main entree would be better but it was worse!!!! It was disgusting and very poor quality. The orange chicken was chewy and rubbery, first bite made me wonder if it could really be so bad! It was in a gooey sauce with no orange flavor and extremely salty. Fried rice looked like rice with soy sauce...they must have forgotten how to prepare fried rice! The sesame chicken was in a gooey sauce and same chewy rubbery texture. Just so bad in every way!!! Egg roll was cold and greasy like they had tried to warm it up. We each ate about 2 bites and had to stop it was so bad. I thought we might get food poisoning it was so disgusting!! We both said it was the first time we had ever considered not taking home leftovers from a Chinese restaurant as we are no huge eaters but this was not even good enough to eat for lunch let alone take any home. I usually don't write reviews but I hope this helps others to look for another place to go to have a good Chinese lunch/dinner and not have the bad experience we did. I still paid for the food since we ordered it but we will NEVER be back. The food was so bad 0 stars would have been...
