Rhodes's Seafood — Local services in Timberville

We traveled from NE Pennsylvania for a weekend getaway, and googled seafood places near us, when Rhodes Seafood came up. I called and spoke with the owner who was more than nice and placed an order for us to pick up the next day. When we arrived, he knew exactly who we were and beautifully packaged 2 live lobsters, crab legs and clams for us that we prepared back at our cabin. The seafood was to die for!!! The clams were not sandy one bit, and the crab meat and lobster so sweet, you barely needed butter!! I cannot say enough about our experience with this business and I thank the owner for being accommodating, and enhancing our experience here in Virginia. I just visited Rhodes' Seafood for the first time this afternoon. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, but as soon as I walked in the door, I could smell fresh seafood (NO weird gross fishy odor, only a delicious aroma, which I consider to be a huge factor when approaching a business like this). Mr. Rhodes was super helpful and gave me cooking tips for the shrimp I bought for fried rice. I plan to return the next time I am in a rut between the usual beef, chicken, and pork.
