Absolutely delightful little museum. Their rolling stock is well restored and presented. You are allowed to go inside and sit, touch, look, etc. Their collection of artifacts is also interesting. What kicked it up a notch was Louise, who seemed to be curator, docent, shop attendant, accountant all at once and who knows what else. She was full of interesting information about this particular railroad and about railroading in general and shared her knowledge with gusto and tailored it on the fly to what was interesting to us personally. Without her, this would have been a museum well worth a visit. With her there, it was one of the most rewarding visits we've experienced.    Read moreVisited the museum one fine Saturday in July. Our host, Lisa, was fantastically enthusiastic and welcoming. It is a cute small town museum with a lot of local history. There was a nice 2-8-2 locomotive that you could get up close to and really see the details that went into the manufacturing of the unit.
