Disappointing experience.

Edit/Response to Owner: My mistake - I probably should've called ahead regarding the trade process seeing as how I had a little over 100 DVDs. Also on me - I could've developed my own trade list in a spreadsheet and didn't have an issue with going back home to do so but... The trade/drop off policy (which could be a little more solid) wasn't the issue, the young man with short hair was nice in his explanation, the "sales man" I spoke with in the parking lot was courteous, but the other gentleman's response to my asking for a drop off receipt included "I mean, we do this everyday, we're not going to take any of them." Really Sir? No matter how you slice it, he could have kept that comment to himself. There was an insinuation that my thought process was you all would steal from me and it was insulting because my request wasn't personal. I would have asked the same of anyone at any other business and would be okay with someone asking me if I were in your position. I've had issues with a few dvds I purchased from YME that were literally unwatchable due to skipping but I never left a negative review, and ate it because that's the risk you run buying used merchandise but customer service is a different story. It cost $0 to treat people with respect.

Side note: I also wanted advice on recycling DVDs because it was mentioned at one of my visits, If there was another alternative to throwing them out I figured you gentleman would know best. (It's okay I Googled it)

Worst place ever! Horrible customer service! Been spending my money on vinyl albums here since they opened. Thousands of dollars spent there! Bought 4 used albums the other day and one that I purchased I already had but didn’t realize it till after I got home and seen I already had it in my collection. Went back a day later to return it and they told me that they just updated their return policy and I could not return it when all I wanted to do was pick out another vinyl album. Really? After all the money I spent here you can’t let me make an exchange? Well you guys just lost my business! Don’t waste your time! I am all about supporting local record stores but screw them! The fat boy with the longer hair is a real piece of work! Used vinyl is more expensive there anyway! I had also forgot to mention that there was another time when I had called to have them hold an album for me and told me no problem, went to go pick it up 2 days later and told me oh I’m sorry but we sold it online. Did not bother to call me to let me know just told me after I had already wasted the gas to come out there. It is all about turnover for this place they do not care about...
