Quite frankly, Hindsight is the best food for the price you're gonna get in Toledo, an exceptional value in a world where food just keeps getting more expensive.
The customizable "Smashin 419" burgers taste great while being gentle on the wallet. Their house specialty signature "Smash" sauce is delicious and a perfect pair for their thin-cut steak fries (they also offer cajun fries).
On the pizza side, there's so much choice at Hindsight it would be hard to cover it all in one review. Simply put, Hindsight offers a great variety of specialty pizzas and build-your-own options - there is something here to love for everyone. And while pizza and burgers are the bona-fide rockstars of the menu, there are solid alternative options on offer as well; things like pasta, chicken, and garlic knots do not go unnoticed or unappreciated here.
There's a lot to like about Hindsight - it has that homey, mom and pop feel with a menu rich in comforts and soul food that stays focused on variety and customization in a way that makes it easy to pick for just about any occasion and accessible to even the most picky pizza eater.
It's not gourmet; don't expect to see Gordon Ramsey - instead you might see the owner working in the kitchen making orders himself. He'll greet you with a smile and can make you a burger that you won't forget and I ask - what more could you ask for?
Hindsight is a stellar and welcomed addition to the Miracle Mile area and has become one of my favorite lunchtime haunts. For as affordable as it is, for how many options Hindsight offers - there aren't too many out there doing it better than Hindsight Pizza right now. I recommend Hindsight to anyone and everyone.
(For purposes of constructive feedback - My ONLY critiques are: order times could be improved, the interior could be more lively, some of the images used to make the wallpaper were too low quality and you can unfortunately see the giant pixels in a few of them, just a small fixable eyesore. It'd be cool to see what it might be like with a small bar and gameday events, maybe a little expansion of the dining area, not saying be a full on sports bar, but maybe explore those options to give the interior a bit more life. It's a young business doing almost everything right thus far, so I'm confident it'll get everything ironed out in time and I'm excited for their future and to support them...
Read moreWent last night for the first time after hearing so many rave reviews from my friends. Got the all meat pizza with garlic butter crust topper - not only was it loaded, it is one of thee best pizzas my Husband and I had in a long time. My only regret is we only ordered a medium because we wanted more. I also ordered the chicken sandwich with a Korean bbq sauce that was incredible as well!!! The chicken had the right amount of breading, was moist and the amount of toppings was just enough to not take away from the flavorful chicken and sauce. It comes with thee best seasoned fries I have ever had and a side of ranch for the sandwich. The one surprise that might not seem like a lot to some, but was a lot to me was that the container contained several ketchup packets for the fries (although it wasn’t needed because the fries were so delicious). It’s the little things besides the overall experience that counts. THANK YOU HINDSIGHT PIZZA - we will...
Read moreFirst, I ordered three dipping sauces. I asked the girl if they were in the box when I picked up my order and she said yes. I got out to the car and something told me to check- Surprise! only one sauce was in the box. Now, about the quality and taste. I don’t know how this place won Pizza Palooza. The all meat pizza was awful! No taste except salt from the cheap sauasage and pepperoni- I counted and the pizza had two tiny meatballs- along with minimal, minuscule bacon bits. What a joke! The cheesy bread I got was so heavy and had absolutely no flavor. Just a heavy brick of greasy, greasy, greasy cheeses and dough. Gosh, all I can say is I did not make a “brilliant decision” purchasing this pizza like it states on the box, and in “Hindsight” I so wish I ordered from somewhere else. My leftover pizza and cheesy bread went in the garbage. Needless to say, I will never eat...
