Starting when I was around 10, my classmates and I would walk from the old middle school up to the Red & White to buy the penny candy. It was so much fun to be able to walk up there after school and buy some Swedish fish!! I'm so happy it's still in business. It's an amazing little store with a lot more than just candy! It's also antiquey and gift shoppy. I actually heard a rumor today that... wait for it.... It might be haunted!! But don't be scared! If there is a ghost, it's friendly.
